[Closed] Little Stranger (Taraji Chapter 1)

Hearing Kivuli’s inquiry, Simba took a quick glance around the den before he shook his head and replied in a casual tone.

”Not quite yet Kivuli. I’d like Kovu and Vitani to at least be present before we begin. Everyone else can be filled in on the details of what we go over here, but it’s important that those two are present before we begin.” Smiling in a friendly manner, Simba added in. ”That just gives you more time to be close to Mila there Kivuli, so I wouldn’t expect you to object to that now, would you?”

Kiara sighed softly to her self as she felt relieved, now that Taraji had drifted off to sleep. Hoping that the noise from the meeting wouldn’t be enough to disturb her daughter’s slumber, Kiara waited impatiently for things to get underway, keeping her fore legs around her cute little cub to keep her nice and warm.

Hearing Rahina’s reply, Kopa smiled warmly at her, returning her loving ministrations as he whispered softly in her ear.

”Well, being with you my precious, that’s all I need no matter where we live or what happens.”

Wrapping his fore legs around her gently, Kopa settled himself down as he too, waited for things to get started.

Daxis knew he could thrown out by Simba because Laini didn't know exactly if he can join the meeting. But he wanted to do everything to stay there as long as he could.
He thought maybe they want to talk about all the new lions joined the pride and he was one of them, maybe he must leave a pride again. After he thought about the meeting Daxis was worried they really want to throw him out. The red maned cub decided to go to Laini and talk a few words with her maybe to calm down.
Daxisi didn't know why the female lion in front of him moved so quietly and slowly through the main den. After the golden furred lioness layed down in a dark corner Daxis layed down against her chest. Well.... why do we have to lay here ... do you think Simba would allow it?... Oh but i want to ask another question. Do you think they will talk about the new lions here and if they throw them out? Will they throw me out od the pride?

Darion lifted up his head as his brother ran past him. Mosi wai..... . Darion shook his head because of his brothers improvidence. He got a bit angry on his brother that he was always disobedient. The blonde furred and maned lion went to both cubs with a angry gaze on hi little brother. What are you think you are doing!
He tried not to scream at him.

Laini was a bit nervous but even so she noticed that Daxis was very anxious. She made him worry about being able to stay with her behaviour. She could not promise him anything about staying here but at least she decided to calm him down by telling her reasoning for chosing this place.

"No worries Daxis. I did not chose this place because of the thought Simba could not approve you being here. I am not sure but I think if you behave yourself noone would object... see there..." her silently whispering voice was barely noticable by Daxis even less by anyone else. She pointed with her head towards Kiara where Taraji was curled up on her chest.
"... even the princess brought a small cub with her so I guess it will be okay. I just chose this place because I do not really like to be crowded between other lions." 'Escpecially not outlanders.' she completed in her thoughts while a cold shiver ran down her spine.

Mosi was just about to answer Almasi's question when Darion interupted him, he turned to look at his brother with a angry look on his muzzle "making friends" he growled and he turned back to Almasi who looked frightened "why are you so scared" he asked her

Almasi was terrified when the older male ran towards them and she curled herself into a little ball, she listened as the two males spoke to one and other and when Mosi asked her a question she uncurled herself and stood up "Im not scared,if anyone tryed anything with me Simba would...." she was cut of by Mosi

"Simba" mosi said cutting Almasi off "you know Simba" he asked her

Darioninterrupted the two cubs and went between them whole looking still mad at mosi. Why couldnt He understand his Big brother just didnt want that someone hurt him. And His disobeiness made him even more angry and He shouted at both cubs.
Mosi we wont anything to do with Simba or others you don't understand me. Remember what our parents did to us. We have to go now Mosi now! then He looked at almasi. And you too go ahead! Darions gaze wandered to His Little Brother again and He was waiting for His reaction.

Daxis was still scarred but she calmed him down a bit. He did not really understand why she layed down away from all other lions but he just accepted it. She knows what was the best for them the dark brown furred cub thought everytime when he asked himself this questions. Daxis was a bit exhausted from the small conflict between him and Almasi. Lainis warm body was exactly what he needed after it got colder. The disquite in the den gave him a light headache but he wanted to stay there. Daxis curled on one of lainis forelegs so that the other foreleg was upon him then he snuggled against her chest.

Almasi got frightened as the older male shouted at them, she turned and ran away as fast as she could, she headed straight for priderock, as she got there she bounded up the rock and into the main den, she spotted Kopa and Rahina and ran straight for them, she then hid herself under Kopas mane and quivered with fear

As Almasi ran off Mosi turned and growled at his brother "you ruin everything" he shouted in anger as he to turned and he followed Almasi, as he reached priderock he slowly creeped up as he reached the top he peeked his head into the den, he saw a lot of lions and he felt very scared, he walked inside slowly and he spotted Simba, he ran to him and stoped infront of him "hello Simba" he said in a cheary tone

A bit caught off guard by Almasi’s sudden appearance, feeling the young lioness hiding against him, Kopa looked down at the shaken cub with a worried expression as he asked in a soft voice.

”Almasi, what’s going on, hmm? Is something wrong?”

Sitting up so he could give the young lioness his undivided attention, Kopa gently placed a fore paw upon her back, caressing her lightly as he waited for a response, hoping his loving ministration would help to ease her fears.

Watching the event unfold, Simba was startled himself when the voice of Mosi reached his ears, causing the king to glance down in front of him, spotting the familiar looking cub from earlier. Looking a bit puzzled, Simba replied in a bewildered tone.

”Well, hello again. You’re the cub from The Outlands, correct? What brings you to my lands? I thought you and your brother wanted me to leave you be, yet here I find you sitting in front of me now. Care to explain?”

Taking interest in this new cub and the fact that her mate must have known him from somewhere, Nala rolled to her paws as she spoke quietly to her mate.

”You know this cub Sweetie?”

Nodding to his mate, Simba replied in a thoughtful voice.

”Well, we met briefly earlier today when I was out looking for Rahina.”

Smiling warmly and being the caring lioness she was, Nala’s soft spot showed as she leaned down and politely introduced herself to the young male.

”Well, it’s nice to meet you Hun. Is there something we can help you with?”

Almasi was still shaken up and so it was hard for her to speek "outlands......lion.....frightened..." she said threw deep breaths, she then cuddled her face into Kopa so as not to see anyone around her

Mosi smiled as he was happy that Simba did not blame him for his brothers actions earlyer that day "my brother scared Almasi half to death and i followed her to make sure she got back ok" he told the king "i hate him, he ruins everything" he said under his breath so that it could barley be heared, then as the Queen spoke to him he bowed down to her and then stood again to speek "well yes, would i be able to stay the night, or would someone be able to escort me back because its getting dark outside and a little bit creepy" he asked the Queen with an inocent look

Darion was full of rage about his little brothers reactions and growled after him but didn't follow. Fine run ahead i'll live my own life i don't need you i never needed you! The blonde male knew he was alone now and maybe his brother would never go back to him, maybe he would live his own life in this pride. I did so much for him and he thanks me like this. He thought while turning his back to priderock and went into his small den where the small prey from this morning which he hunt for Mosi and himself was still laying around. Darion draged it out of the den and layed down in the den again he wanted to sleep right now and fell asleep soon.
