Xbox One looks cool, but I'm still mad that they're going to stop releasing games on current gen consoles...

Er, they aren't? First thing they said is "We will show what's next for 360 at E3." PS3 also has recently revealed games.
Next gen consoles suck so far, but One is by far the biggest sinner to gaming. "Okay guise we need to make a new games console... What should we focus on?" "TV!" "Kinect" "Socializing!"... Why can't anyone just make a bloody GAMES console anymore?

I get it, they are appealing to the masses but the small percentage of us who just want to play actual games are being so left out in the cold next gen.

The PC would have to be connected on the same network, with wake on LAN capabilities. Not all PCs have motherboards or network adapters which support such a thing.

I know the difference. GDDR5 is much, much faster than DDR3. GDDR5 is typically only used in graphics cards, because the faster memory offers a huge performance increase for those sorts of tasks. The 'G' means its for graphics, the number at the end is the speed multiplier.

I agree though, for the most part. I don't even know why I care about the new consoles at all, because I know my PC is better anyway. Only reason why I have a PS3 is for GT, basically. XD

It's been said before that once the next gen ones are actually released, they won't release anymore games on the current ones at all. When the current gen came out they still released stuff on the old ones for a little while, but apparently they've decided not to do that this time.

I do agree they're putting too much emphasis on other stuff, but I'm not the kinda person who likes gaming on the PC (plus my computer's not very good for that) and I've been looking forward to some games that won't be released on current gen consoles so I'll be getting One eventually.

Well, that's what Micro$oft does. I'm pretty sure that's what they did with the Xbox.

Besides, the industry has to move forward somehow. The fact that the 360 has lasted for 8 years is quite remarkable in itself.

Honestly, I agree with you. The next gens. look pretty bad, or not up to my expectations. Thats why I switch to PC, and never looking back
