Wolf RP- VM and Dark Huntress

Dan looked at Tala and said sarcastically, though he also tried to whisper it, "Well that's a good thank-you to someone for saving your life. How was I supposed to know the hunter would come and try and kill us?"

He shook his head and scowled at the little wolf pup. He saved her life and she repaid him in that rude matter. He was sorry the other younger wolf was shot but it wasn't his fault. The young wolf should have moved faster.

He kept following them until he looked at Bandarick and asked him, 'Are you sure you want me to follow you wolves? The hunter is only after me."

"Which is why you must come with us," Bandarick replied. Inviting this wolf who'd killed his son was more painful than stabbing himself, but he, as a leader, must make that sacrifice. "Safety is in numbers"

Tala followed the others as they moved out, silently brooding. Every part of her was screaming. She never shouldn't met Dan. He never should've killed the hunter's son, even if it was an accident-he shouldn't have been anywhere near a human. She growled deep in her throat. She'd lost two of the only here things she cared about in only one day: the worst day of her relatively short life.

Later that night all of the wolves settled down for sleep while two wolves kept watch over the pack, sleeping in 4 hour shifts. Dan however woke up and went over to Tala and said to her, "Tala listen to me. I know you hate me right now but you must stay focused. That human you saw, yes he thinks I killed...uh his son. Let me tell you something Tala. I saw your mother get shot. That hunter's son he was the one who shot her. And uh...I accidently killed him."

He paused as he finished with his big lie. Maybe now he would regain her empathy and trust with him. "I'm sorry about your friend. Tala...I'll make sure you live." Even though he should hate her for her rude behavior towards him he couldn't help but feel attached and obligated to this wolf pup. Oh and if she has a good life he'll become human again, there was that too.

Tala glared up at him. "As you said before, revenge isn't sweet. And death is bitter." She laid her head back down. Perhaps the elders could do something for Ulf. She sighed heavily, in many ways, it felt like her fault.

Bandarick strode up behind Dan. "Come," he ordered, then padded away, expecting Dan to follow. He led the smaller wolf to a secluded spots.

"Ulf," he began in a strong voice,"was my only son, my heir. Tala remains, but you still have to answer to the council." He sighed,"I will stick up for you as much as possible, but my powers are limited." With that he walked away.

The next morning Dan was brought before the elders as they said, "Young wolf your arrogance has betrayed the pack to this human hunter and your incompetance has let the human hunter track us. Why do you deserve to live?"

Dan simply paused and did not contest to what they said, "You know what you're right. Everything's my fault.

Just let me live and exile me and I'll leave everyone alone and never come back provided that Tala is given a good life. I have no plans on staying long here anyway." With that he reclined back in his haunches and waited for Bandarick to speak.

Bandarick inspected the young wolf. He agreed with everything he had said, but his position prevented him from saying so. "Step aside," he said firmly. "The council will decide what we will do with you in private."

Tala paced a little. Desabwe, the pack healer, was focusing all of her powers on Ulf, trying to revive him. She sighed loudly. Waiting was her weakness. She groaned and collapsed into the ground. "Oh, my! I hate waiting!"

The elders looked at Bandarick and said, "The wolf is arrogant, yet he is bold. Will your son make it through the night Bandarick?"

Meanwhile Dan sat back and after a while walked back over to Tala and told her, "Tala I'm going to leave. They should all treat you descently now and as for me you won't see my face anymore. It seems all parties will be happy. I'm exiling myself and leaving for good, never to return. You'll never see me again."

"How nice," Tala said coldly and trotted off, small tail waving. It was impossible for her to be all sad or all happy, she was rather evenly divided between the two emotions, though her anger ruled her at that precise moment.

"I don't know," Bandarick admitted. "Desabwe has promised to do all that she can, but I fear her efforts are futile. Perhaps the higher powers will assist us. Without them? However, I believe my son will die."

The elders then said, "What do you think should be done to that young wolf Dan?"

"I think he should choose his own path," Bandarick answered, deep voice firm. "He will only endanger this pack further if he remains for long and, as it's Alpha, I cannot allow that. However, I believe he will choose to leave himself.

"Whatever happens to him, I am concerned for Tala, as the daughter of my adopted daughter I wish for her to remain. Unfortunately the decision is not mine. I humbly ask the council to allow Tala to not be punished for where her mother's heart laid."
