Wolf RP- VM and Dark Huntress

Dan suddenly noticed the rabbit he had caught yesterday that neither had eaten and pushed it towards her. "Here eat this if you're hungry." He then shrugged at her question, "I uh...guess I'll be just like you. I'll have to survive without anybody."

He then looked at the little wolf pup and said with a sigh, "Tala I'll make sure you stay alive, and not because I'm being nice, but because you've been the only one out here whose helped me and not tried to kill or hurt me."

Tala laughed dryly as she tore at the rabbit meat. "Like I could hurt anyone. The flesh was soft and tasty-perfect. She swallowed and the tip of her tail tapped with satisfaction.

"'Guess that's just how life is," she said past the next mouthful of raw red meat. "It's all about surviving."

Dan quickly nodded, "Survival of the fittest." He then said to her, "This hunter whose after me, he's the best one I know. He's tracked down and killed tons of animals. I have my own doubts on whether we will survive an encounter with him or not. I mean you'll survive since he won't kill pups but I probably won't because the hunter's after me and won't stop until I'm dead."

"I was with you-he'll probably kill me too. Humans are like wolves: once they've killed the other, it's hard to stop." She glanced at her toes,"And revenge is the sweetest kill of all." She sighed heavily.

"Did you really kill his son?" She shrugged as he gave her an incredulous look,"I heard say 'you killed my son'."

Dan again looked at her and tried to talk her out of it, "No revenge is not a good thing. Besides it will never take the pain away." He then said to her question about if he killed the hunter's son, "Uh everything I have done was an accident," with a double meaning in what he said.

He then sighed as he noticed no sleeping was going to be accomplished and said, "We must keep moving before he finds us." He then looked at her and asked, "Do I look like a killer to you? Do I look like a bad guy?"

Tala shrugged at their difference of opinion. "Hmm." She was running out of things to say-she was usually an eager conversationalist, even with her crush. She wasn't easily intimidated or silenced. She was, however, forced to be a little shy by his behavior. It was just so foreign.

"So...," she sighed,"where are you from? South? East? West?" She was sure he wasn't from the North-she'd met others from that direction. They were even more uncivilized and savage than her pack.

Dan had to think a minute for an answer, "Uh where I'm from is of no importance. I'm new here, that is all that you need to know." He then said to her, although he said it in a joking manner, "So are there any girl wolves my age around here? My harmone's are going berserk," he said with a laugh. He then got serious, "Is there no way for you to rejoin your pack and not be alone?"

"Hormones? Men!" She laughed. "Of no importance? What kind of lame answer is that?" She left off the subject though. "I don't know about any girl wolves-I'm interested in the men!" She gave him a playful grin.

"No, there isn't-because I never really was part of it," she sobered. "My father was the Omega wolf and thus my and I were banished. It's a common known fact that'll I'll never amount to anything." She shrugged,"And the boys hang with me when they bored-they like to tease me."

Dan simply shrugged, "Sorry but uh no adolescent wolves like pipsquek little girls like you. Uh you'll have to wait a year probably." Dan then said with full confidence, "Why don't I go up to that wolf pack and I'll show them whose boss around here. How hard can it be?" He then shrugged, "If I win against the lead male I'll let you back in the pack. Those wolves don't know who they're messing with and neither do you. I've killed plenty of animals."

"That would just embarrass me and I don't care-I'd still be treated bad. And who you calling 'pipsqueak'?!" She growled in his face, small muzzle creasing dangerously. "I'm almost a teenager," she plopped onto her front paws and stuck her tongue out at him. "This is the most awkward conversation ever...," she trailed off.

"Except that camp raid. That was pretty bad!" She chuckled.
