Wolf RP- VM and Dark Huntress

Suddenly however Dan started to get out of it as he suddenly fell to the ground and had a dream. As he woke up he noticed them all around him and tried to pretend nothing happened. A voice told him to be nice to that wolf pup if he ever wanted to be human again. That was impossible! She's annoying! He sighed however and gave his best smile to all of them, "Uh I'm fine. Really. I just passed out." He then looked at them and said, "Uh where I'm from is of no importance."

He then sighed as he looked at the wolf pup and said, "Listen kid I know how you feel. I lost my mother too at a young age. The feeling hurts." He then looked at her and said, "You never told me your name kid."

Tala gave him a suspicious look. "You must've hit your head harder than I thought." She stood on her hindlegs as if to inspect his head. Ulf snickered behind her. She dropped to all fours. "M'name's Tala," she said, mimicking an accent she'd licked up from a little cocker spaniel tourist from a mysterious place called 'London'.

She gave the boys behind her a look. "It's gettin' late-better be off before Ranqaw decides to eat you!" She grinned as the teenage wolves yelped as if they'd forgot something-which theyhad-and darted away. She turned back to Dan, giving him a suspicious look. "What happened? I'm not stupid-no matter what you think."

Dan shook his head and said, "Nothing happened. I just passed out. I mean what else could have happened?" He again tried to simulate being nice to her as he said in a sympathetic tone, even though it had a fake undertone, "Don't worry Tala I'll make sure nothing happens to you ever again." He then shook his head and said seriously, "The hunter's still after us kid. We better find that den for the night and make sure he doesn't find us."

As they walked back to that cramped hole in the ground Dan said to her, "Have you ever had an experience before where your father wants to kill you? I mean have you ever...nevermind. What I'm trying to say is my father hates me for no reason. It is all a misunderstanding." He tried to change it up to make her not suspicious of him, "And plus I have this human hunter after me who wants to kill me as well."

"I don't believe you," she crawled over him into the small hole. "And you have an extremely fake 'nice' voice. I'm a wolf, I can sense faux feelings. Anyway, I do know what it's like, well, mind of, not exactly the whole 'father' thing." She shrugged as best she could.

"Well. I'm going to kill this hunter if he bears the tiniest resemblance to my mother's murderer," a sharp, evil gleam glinted in her eyes, ad pain set in for the first time in the day. "So stay out of my way-because my training starts soon."

Dan suddenly laughed at her and said, "Heh kid let me tell you from experience that you have no chance whatsoever killing the human hunter." He then had a feeling of guilt for the first time, not towards killing her mother, but because the pup could hate him, "Listen Tala, there's no need for you to hate this human hunter. Besides a human hunter doesn't want to kill a little pup like you anyway. They usually leave pups alone."

He then sighed and tried to make up a story that seemed close to his real situation as he told her, "My father he...thinks I killed my brother, his son, and so he hates me and blames me for it. There's nothing I can do to change his mind."

"I won't always be a pup," she said angrily,"and I will be big and fierce and I will kill him. I'm a wolf-I don't fear my own death, I fear shrinking from it." She said the last words with determination. She wanted to be big, powerful, for the hunter to fear her as she tore his throat out, flesh soft and insubstantial under her sharp teeth. To hear him scream in fear.

"Why?" she asked softly. "Why did you kill your brother? Anger? Power? Love?" she repeated her question, reiterating. Please not be love, she begged herself. I can't stand 'love' stories. Blech! she shifted to look him in the eye. "Please tell me not love, 'cuz that'd just be weird!"

Dan again tried to talk the little pup out of it, "But that human hunter won't want to kill you as long as you leave him alone." He said, "Listen Tala just forget about it. And listen wolves aren't blameless. Most wolves...most wolves will look for any excuse to attack the human."

He then turned to her and again tried to make up some answers, "I didn't kill my brother...he died in a hunting accident. Yeah I know...the idea of me hunting seems far-fetched but it's true. My father blames me for his death."

"It seems you're on the wrong side: opposing me. Do you want to be human or something? Are they just so great? They look at us and fear us! We're built to live and hunt and they are built to have babies and grow old-we aren't enemies, just different." She looked at her paws,"An old wolf told me that-one of his ancestors hunted with the white men and Indians."

"I suppose you weren't ever a great hunter," she arched a brow at him,"all things considered." She grinned innocently and fluffed her little tail. This was going to be an...interesting odyssey-wherever they were going. This is going to be weirder than that time I ended up...oh, well, she chuckled at the memory.

Dan said to her, "Well I mean look at the human building cities and biuldings that rise up all the way to the sky. That is impressive right?" He then said to throw suspicion off, "Of course I wouldn't want to be a human. Let me say this though. Humans are built to be the top predator because of their brain. Humans can master any animal by their inguenuity. They don't need powerful legs or sharp teeth."

He then said to her mock about him hunting, "Haha. Very funny." He wanted to get off the topic of killing humans and quickly said, trying to simulate a concerned tone in his voice, "You look thirsty. We better get something to drink." He put his head out of the den and waited for Tala to come before he soon found a river nearby and said in pride to her, "Animals drink in that archaic way. People however are more delicate." Dan went to the water and tired to drink. He put his paw in the water and tried to fish some out. Unfortunately that did not work. "Why won't this work! I am thirsty!"

"Because wolves don't need or want those buildings-they prefer to live off the land," she laughed to herself,"imagine the bare-skinned humans caught out in the winter in their thin little fur hides-they'd freeze! We, however, are fine and enjoy snow fights and ice-sliding. And their brain and intelligence-it's gets them in more trouble than our stupidity. They fight massive wars over nothing-the death of one man they treasure over another or a piece of special land, it's sick and demented! They should use their intelligence in a different way than putting eachother down. I wouldn't want to be one-their life is too...complicated, too many choices! And they're always being told to 'lead with their heart'! No, sillies! use your brain! That's what it's there for...!" She bent down to drink.

She looked up to give him an amused look. "Because you're not human?" she ventured, mirth tinting her voice. "We also don't really dribble this way and it's very quick and easy!"
