New comic - "The Great Festival of the Sun"

The event in this comic may not happen for another month or so, but I figured I'd post this story here now, lest I forget to later:

"The Great Festival of the Sun"

Though this version of the comic was from a series of Polish magazines (scanned and uploaded by DevART user MaeraFay), apparently it was first published as a series of black and white strips in an American newspaper, with one new row appearing each day. The reason this comic looks a little "chopped up" in places is because the rows originally spanned both pages instead of staying confined to one, so I had to reorder them to follow the conventional comic book format.

Regarding your comment about pages being missing, there are supposed to be 8 pages in all -- I didn't notice any missing ones.

I'm pretty sure 5 and 4 are misplaced, at the very least. The area being flooded before Scar and the hyenas redirect the river doesn't make much sense.

Ah -- pages 5 and 6 were in the wrong order. I resorted them.

That's the one I have stashed in my boxes in the attic! Except mine was cut out of the newspaper as it ran as a serial, so its a lot more boring in black & white. Well, black and very deep yellow now, lol. It's nice to see it stored somewhere online for if/when the newsprint bites the dust.

Wow -- interesting! I didn't try searching for the black-and-white version of the story, but it's neat to hear that someone here actually has a copy of it.
