I used to drink energy drinks on night shifts years ago. They would effect my sleep and caused my anxiety and depression to flare up. Water is best for staying alert, with the occaisional coffee or tea for energy.

It is the caffeine that gives the energy boost. Energy drinks, coffee, and tea, all have caffeine.

Also, done with my essay. Hopefully I've put enough engineering speak in here so that my writing goes over my instructor's head and impresses the guy, so I make an A in the class. Unfortunately, I actually need to care about my GPA now, so that I can get into a specific university with a supposedly high denial rate.
Six pages and 2000+ words of opinionated facts and figures, with 10 cited sources to support my claim. That should do it.
