The Battle Ends
As Priderock burned, a battle had begun for the future of the Pridelands. The true kings return inspired the lionesses to finally fight back. It soon became clear that the hyenas were sloppy push overs. In high numbers they can over run one or two who got in their way, but against a full pride with fire in their hearts and a kings leadership was too powerful. The hyenas tried to all charge Simba in the hopes of killing him and taking control again. The lionesses were too quick to act in order to save the king. As the fight raged on more and more hyena's fell. Kivuli, Kokota and Ashur drew ever more closer to the battle and were ready to fight
The three adolescents ran up the slopes of Priderock, knocking fleeing hyenas away, in order to join the battle above. When they arrived there was still a lot of fighting to be done. The three split off in separate directions. Kivuli went round the side. He could hear a lion roar nearby. As Kivuli looked round a golden lion caught his eyes 'That must be Simba' he thought 'I thought it was odd seeing the lionesses fight. His return must of sparked off a rebellion. Guess I won't be king. Unless Simba dies. No matter that can wait I need to find Sarabi'
Kivuli looked round as fast as he could. Eventually, through the intense heat and ash that seemed to rival the sun, Kivuli saw the widow queen getting backed into a corner by hyenas. Without thinking Kivuli charged. Instantly two hyenas were knocked down, and Kivuli stood in front of Sarabi, fang and claw draw and ready 'Kivuli! Thank god you made it. Where are the others?' she asked 'Fighting. Go to them Sarabi, these beasts are mine' replied Kivuli. The old queen obeyed and ran leaving Kivuli alone. The hyenas went for the gray lion. A bad move. The training had worked. Kivuli moved so fast with such deadly force, they hyenas stood no chance as their bodies piled up, each dieing with but one deadly swing of Kivuli's paw
Sarabi was making her way up to where Simba had begun the battle with Scar when she turned round to see Kivuli at his full potential. She was amazed at the sight, unable to break her stare on the battle, she watched as Kivuli lay waste from one hyena to the next. How their blood began to cover the floor, and Kivuli, in a blanket of crimson liquid. Sarabi lost herself in her thoughts 'Kivuli. You're incredible. From the way you fight you could even take on my son with a chance of victory. But, I know you wont. Your heart wont allow it. Past the anger and hate you have, I know deep down your the most gentle, caring lion that can be known. You would have made a great king for us all. I'm proud of you. I know you mother would be to. No matter what happens Kivuli. You will always be a king in my eyes' Sarabi then ran off to join the end of the battle, only to find that there was only one remaining. The battle of the kings
Kivuli stood his ground. Waiting for the next lot of hyenas. He was distracted however when small rocks fell and rolled off his blood matted skin. Wondering what was going on he looked up and gasped. Scar was falling. Acting quick Kivuli jumped out the way and ran to a rock for nearby cover, ready to finished the job. He didn't get the chance. The hyenas were surrounding Scar and and advancing. Kivuli chuckled as he heard the tyrant plead for mercy before the hyenas tore into him and the flames engulfed the hyenas along with Scar. Kivuli never took his eyes off it. Even though he never did it himself. He was happy. Scar was finally dead
