I do not believe that violating the human rights of others voids your own.

I don't really know about that.

All I know is that we need to give the guy a full tour of the American justice system, because under American law, everyone are equal. Nor do I think that he needs to be killed, but not out of sympathy for him or any anti-capital punishment sentiment, but because I'd hate to see him become a rallying cry for more terrorists.

Not putting such a person to death would violate the right to live in a safer world of every human being on this planet.

I'm pretty sure that once you blow up an eight year old kid society has no, and will never have any use for you. Human rights apply to humans, not monsters.

Doing what you believe is right and doing what you believe is correct are two entirely different things. This ''criminal human rights'' thing is an issue of correctness and incorrectness, right and wrong don't even come into the question.

Seriously, when these topics are made to discuss other's opinions about something terrible that happened out there in the world, I really don't understand why every little person on MLK has to come in here and post somethin 'wrong' about everybody's statement and what seems to be purposely start up an argument. You can disagree with me, don't go off on me saying I'm stupid and wrong because of that. If you didn't expect your comment to break out int an argument, you should have, and really need to watch the way you put things or do what I do: I didn't mean to sound rude or offensive to any of you, I just spoke/typed in this tone/way to make my point clear.
I'm pretty sure you are talking to me, and I am pretty sure I wasn't talking to you. And I am pretty sure that I will keep saying what I think, every second of every day of every year that I live, and I will definitely not nuance any of the things I say. I don't care much for political correctness.

Don't get mad because your views get attacked. Defend them, and if you are unable to, then they are probably wrong or less valuable.

Browsed the thread, couldn't find anybody saying the word ''stupid''.

You posted your opinion. Someone disagreed. There are two options: 1. you counter, 2. you stay out. Telling people that they shouldn't attack your views is of no use to anybody.
If your post was not directed at me, please ignore this post. You didn't name anybody and that confused me.

^ Just to make it clear, it wasn't directed towards you entirely. But if what you said breaks out into an argument, then maybe, it depends. So don't get mad at me for saying something I didn't. Not implying you were mad at me to make it clear, you didn't seem that way, if you were, my bad.

Most experts agree that the death penalty does not deter violent crime. Therefor, killing rather than imprisonment would do little more than satisfy your own personal convictions about justice. Hmm hmmmmmm?

In an interview with Professor van den Haag, a psychoanalyst and adjunct professor at New York University, was questioned, “Why do you favor the death penalty?” His answer was that the Federal prison had a man sentenced to Life who, since he has been in prison committed three more murders on three separate occasions .They were prison guards and inmates. There’s no more punishment he can receive, therefore, in many cases, the death penalty is the only penalty that can deter. He went on saying “I hold life sacred, and because I hold it sacred, I feel that anyone who takes some one’s life should know that thereby he forsakes his own and does not just suffer an inconvenience about being put into prison for sometime.

Who is paying for this life imprisonement? That's right. The taxpayer.

I can't comprehend how anyone could say that a person who murders another keeps deserving the right to live. Especially islamofascists in this case.
