Celina nodded, at least Maranwe had sense. "Good call," she nodded approvingly and stood. "If I may," she addressed Eowyn politely,"Shouldn't we turn in if we are leaving so early?" She shot Aidyn a small smirk. "Go sharpen your scythe, farm boy," she walked towards the door and paused, waiting for someone to show her the way. She turned, feeling a little weird without her newly acquired shadow. "Are you going to come, Wolf-boy?"
Wulf shrugged. "I'd rather meet my horse," he looked at he ceiling and exhaled,"share a stall with it."

Aiden felt Brygid stiffen next to him at Celina's "insult"; he didn't care. He was, however, going to sharpen his scythe, it was good advice, no matter how sarcastically meant. He smiled at Wulf's statement then shot a look at Ewyn as he smacked his bread noisily. Why are siblings so embarrassing?

"Go. There are beds upstairs. A small room with some blankets in will be found two doors down when you reach the corridor at the top of the stairs. Sleep well, I will have the men ready at the gates for you come the morning" Eowyn said with a bow.

She turned to Maranwe.

"Be careful of there and if you see my brother.... Please.. Beg him to return" She asked.

"He was exiled my lady. If he were to return, he would be killed" Maranwe reminded her sadly. She herself wanted nothing more than for Eomer to be returned to them safely, but that wasn't an option whilst Wormtongue was around.

"I will tell him you are thinking of him though if we do run into him" She said softly with a bow of her head as she intended to get some sleep herself.

Celina nodded and exited the room to follow Lady Eowyn's instructions, leaving Wulf behind, feeling awkward after his previous statement. "So," he tapped his hands against the wall behind his back,"where are the stables." The others shot him a weird look as if to say "what is wrong with him"?!
He tried to ignore the looks and give the ladies apparently in charge an embarrassed smile as Damon rolled his eyes and sighed. Wulf shifted uncomfortably: he knew he was weird. "If you don't mind me asking or find it impertinent," he added quietly the mumbled "I don't like houses" in an attempt to appease the strange looks from the other travelers.

Aidyn shook himself. If Wulf had odd preferences it wasn't his business-his business was his family and keeping them safe. He hoped he was making a good call, going on the raids, but getting Brygid to stay was going to be difficult. She was usually submissive but when it came to this, to him, he knew she was more resilient than anything.
"I believe I'll turn in as well," he rose and beckoned for Ewyn and Elwyna to follow. Brygid led Elwyna up the stairs first and gave Amber an imperative look. Amber shrugged,"I'm going to see the horses with Wulf-"she gave Wulf a look to see if he objected. When he shrugged she continued"-I'll be up in a minute."
Brygid rolled her eyes and mumbled something as she and Elwyna disappeared up the stairs. Aidyn shoved Ewyn up the slanted passageway and gave Eowyn and Maranwe a shy smile. "I'm terribly sorry for," he made a vague gesture,"that." I hope they don't laugh. Please don't laugh, he begged himself silently, cheeks turning redder than his auburn hair.

Eowyn shook her head as if to say it wasn't a problem as she watched the other travelers disappear in opposite directions. She bid them goodnight and wandered back to her own chambers now, her long dress trailing along behind her. She made sure to tell one of the guards of her instructions however before departing completely. Maranwe watched her go before turning to Aidyn who looked a little flustered. She smiled kindly.

"I guess I will see you in the morning then" Maranwe said with her hands in her pockets.

Aidyn smiled again and waved a little before backing up the stairs. He laid down on one of the beds in the room Ewyn had gone to and fell asleep nearly instantly-it'd been two days of constant travel without sleep and it'd been very draining.
Amber followed Wulf as he showed himself to the stables. He smiled as he saw a piebald pinto poking its head over the door of the stable. "Hey there, buddy," he held its large chin with a hand and stroked its velvety nose as it nickered softly. Amber leaned against the wall next to him. "Did you cut your hair?" Wulf asked, gesturing to Amber's shoulder-length brown hair.
"Oh, yes," she pushed it out,"Brygid had a cow though." She laughed. Wulf smiled. "A horse is eating your tunic," he said, obviously bemused. "Oh!" Amber leapt back, away from the pale horse nibbling on her man's tunic,"Oh." They talked for a few minutes before Amber bade Wulf good night and slipped upstairs.
"I thought you had some sense." Wulf looked up at Damon and shrugged,"Eh, sounds like a mistake on your part." Damon shook his head. "You're seriously going after the first pretty girl you see?"
"I guess. I've wanted to fight for a long time, Sauron's a," he checked himself,"not very nice guy." Damon snorted.

Maranwe made her way to her own chambers which were a few doors down from Lady Eowyn. She had her own small balcony in her room so she walked out onto it and into the night air. All was peaceful in the town so she smiled with contentment, yet she was a little nervous about what was coming in the morning. She just hoped she would be of use to the travelers. The thought of seeing Eomer again also excited her as she looked out at the lands. Where was he now she wondered and was he safe.

With a reluctant sigh, she turned away from the window and strode over to her bed. Sword and shield were settled down on the floor beside her, but her armour stayed on. Maranwe lay back and instantly fell asleep. Today had been exhausting.

Aidyn yawned and rolled out of bed as he heard activity in the other room. He stretched and piled his blankets on the bed then rolled Ewyn off of his mattress, pulling a comforter out of underneath the awkward boy. "Get up, kid," he growled, a little angry that Ewyn was making this difficult.
Within five minutes the two were washed up and in the hall where they could hear Brygid scolding Amber from several doors down. Ewyn and Aidyn shared amused looks as they trotted down the stairs to the dining room where Celina was already. She was pacing slightly and examining the room. As Ewyn and Aidyn seated themselves and the girls appeared, Damon and Wulf graced the already gathered people with their presence.

Maranwe didn't sleep easy that night. She never did since Eomer had left the city. When she woke, she was gasping for breath due to a troublesome dream. It took her a while to realize it was a dream and the remembrance of the quest ahead came back to her. With a sigh, she sat up and began to collect all she needed for the next few days. Her sword was already sharpened and polished as she did this on a regular basis and the shield she bore was un-dented.

Maranwe poured herself a cup of water, drank and then made for the stairs. She hoped the others were all up and about for she wanted to leave promptly. She decended down the stairs towards the hall.

The already gathered peoples looked up as Maranwe descended down the stairs. "When do I get my sword, your majesty?" Celina asked Maranwe, somewhat sarcastically,"I'd like to check my weapons. A faulty weapon is imminent laugh." She laughed humorlessly.
Aidyn gave her a puzzled look then glanced at Wulf, who shrugged. "Shall we set out?" Aidyn suggested,"Before day comes." Amber and Ewyn were halfway out the door even before Maranwe answered, much to Aidyn and Brygid's mortification.

Maranwe blinked at the woman's sarcasm. She tilted her head slightly but merely laughed after a while. She was not going to be insulted or rise to the bate.

"You'll get your weapons in a moment don't fret. "Come on, let's go the horses and the men will be waiting aswell as your weapons" She said walking past her to the door.

The sun was up now so the day was perfect for heading out.
