"Only the worst for those filthy blooded creatures" Mia replied, her smirk widening as she imagined hexing a muggleborn.

"Slughorns a moron. He's only head because the Headmaster knows he was such good friends with the old headmaster so she decided to keep him as head of Slytherin. Useless old fool" Mia scolded.

She hated the man and wished they had a decent head of house. She looked up at the others.

"It's OWL year this year too.. We better be taught something decent in Defense against the dark arts"

"So long as we study and keep on top of things we should all do fine" Rose replied to Scorpius, hearing his question.

She was very Hermionie like when it came to studying and her mother would often help her revise over the summer so she would have a headstart come the new term. She smiled at the thought of the exams.

"Well, Rose will do well no doubt about it. She's obsessed with books" Her cousin teased.

"Oh shut up. I just want to do well" She said, waving away Albus' sarcasm.

Victoria agreed. She hated Headmistress McGonagall almost as she hated their house head. She too seemed to have always liked Mudbloods. If there's something she couldn't understand, that was it.

What's worse, she knew Professor McGonagall once went to Gryffindor, and even was its head. Vickey hated Gryffindor and its students. They just had quite the opposite beliefs to hers.

"Yes, I so hope this year's Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher will be someone worth its position. Maybe an old Voldemort's follower?" she asked and her eyes filled with hope.

She looked around the corridor. She couldn't wait to finally reach Hogwarts. She had a work to do, and she knew it. She knew her friends knew it as well.

Scorpius looked at Rosie reproachfully. One thing he never managed to understand about her was her obsession over studying. He loved school as well, but studying during the summer and looking forward to the exams... it was just to much. At least, from his point of view. How can she just enjoy being such an annoying miss-know-it-all?

His father mentioned him many times Hermione was the same during her school years. So, he knew it had something to do with a blood. Finally, he realized it's something he'll never understand.

That's why he just whispered to Albus: "I just hope she helps us with our homework."

"She better" Albus whispered back to his friend as Rose was looking out the window at the moment they spoke.

She turned back to them and saw their heads together. Immediately she was suspicious and raised an eyebrow, just like her mothers suspicious look.

"What are you two plotting?" She asked.

Mia too thought of who might be teaching them this year. She prayed also that it was going to be a decent teacher who could actually 'teach'. She was fed up with the ones who merely turned up, gave them paper work and then resigned the year after. She wanted a decent teacher and wanted to learn this subject more than anything.

"Heh, I guess we will see when we get there. I plan on doing a little dark magic myself this year" She said, with her usual smirk sitting on her face.

"What? Were we plotting something, Albus?" asked Scorpius, with an innocent look.

He so didn't want to anger Rose. She could be a really tough tempered once she's angered, and he knew interfering with her school plans would anger her more than anything else. So, he had to make something up. Instantly.

"Ummm... I just asked Al if he opened his schoolbooks this summer," he said with a guilty look on his face. He just hoped this lie should pass.

"Yeah," agreed Vickey. "He, he, he," she laughed evilly. "We could do some amazing stuff. Who cares if we have a bad Dark Arts teacher anyway? We are smart nevertheless. And we are better than anything Hogwarts offers us."

She thought seriously of what they might do. Perhaps even create Horcruxes? Why not? If Voldemort could do it sometime in the past, why couldn't they? They had enough dark inside them. All of them.

Jeff was both proud and scared to be in this company. He remained silent, and just nodded with a vicious smile.

"Ha, the chance of Albus opening his school books are about a million to one" Rose snorted as Scorpius said this.

Albus rolled his eyes and folded his arms stubbornly. It was true, he had spent most of the summer out on his broomstick with his father, the famous Harry Potter. He was pleased he didn't get stared at or worshiped like he had been when he was at school. Albus liked being quiet and unpopular. He had a handful of friends and his family there. He needed nothing more.

"I wonder if we will learn about patronuses this year?" Rose said thoughtfully.

"Right. I intend to make life hard for those foul creatures this year, especially any muggle first years" Mia said with a cruel smile.

Thunder stretched out and gave a loud yawn as he listened to the Slytherins talk of term. He was just looking forward to relaxing by the fire in the dungeons.

Scorpius was happy, so his lie did pass. Rose didn't suspect anything, even though he knew he wasn't very persuasive. Lying was one of those things he was never good at. He must practice it a bit more in the future. Definitely.

He looked at Rose, and thought about her question for a moment.

"I doubt that," said Scorpius honestly. "From what I've heard, Patronuses are way beyond Ordinary Wizarding Level. We are still not old nor good enough for such advanced magic."

Scorpius hardly admitted it. He truly wanted to learn to cast Patronus, being anxious to find out which animal would it be. Somehow, he hoped it would be a dog or a cat, but, within, he feared it's a mouse, or a little spider. What a disgrace that would be. He didn't even want to think about it.

"Or maybe... If a good teacher comes this year, we might ask... just ask to show us. It can't be that bad," he thought to himself.

Victoria was eternally pleased with what she's heard. She was never happier to share compartment with Mia. This Slytherin was just what she respected in a person. Plus, she was powerful.

"Hah. New little Mudbloods? I can't wait to see the looks on their faces, after we are through with them. That will be a laugh I tell you!" She was very happy indeed to hear all this. Making people she didn't like suffer was one of her favorite hobbies.

She gave Thunder a pat. She liked this cat. She could not explain why, though. She was never fond of animals. But there was something in Mia's cat she liked. Who knows?

"Well my father learnt to do his patronus in his third year so we can too!" Albus said folding his arms stubbornly.

"Yes, but your father isn't like other wizards is he Albus?" Rose said, but not unkindly.

She now had a copy of the Daily prophet on her lap and was skim reading the articles. Luckily these days there was little bad news which suited her just fine. occasionally she would read about a famous wizard dying, but no murders or anything thank goodness like it had been the case back in her mothers and fathers time at school. She looked up at the others for a moment.

"We could always practice though"

Mia laughed at the thought of putting the first years through their paces. The little brats wouldn't know what hit them. It was a wonder Mia had any friends considering how she treated most of the other pupils. Victoria and Jeff were the only ones who really understood her though and she was very grateful for that. Thinking of Jeff, she noticed he was being very quiet.

"Hey Jeff, what's the matter? Your being very quiet" Mia pointed out.

Thunder purred as Victoria gave him a pat. He wasn't used to attention from other Slytherins. People would sometimes even kick him when they recognized him as Mia's cat.

Scorpius forgot for a moment who was Albus's father. He didn't want to think about it too much, especially due their families rivalry. That's why he got confused for a moment with Albus's observation.

Yeah, Harry could do his Patronus in 3rd year... and they were know 5th. They are older. He also heard of "Dumbledore's Army", a group of kids led by Harry to learn Defense Against The Dark Arts properly in their 5th year. He never thought of that before, but now, it seemed to make sense.

"But, Albus. My father told me Harry just wanted to be in the center of attention, so he studied all these stuff," he said.

Right then, he regretted having mentioned it. Both Rosie and Albus were related to Harry, and he knew neither of them would be pleased with what he just said.

Nah. It was too late, he couldn't unsay it. So, he just shut up.

Victoria gave a scornful look as she heard Mia's question addressed to Jeff. She hated when he kept this silent. She started to believe he doesn't even have a tongue. She knew his silent reticence wasn't a plus in Mia's books. Her hopes he wouldn't do anything foolish were in vain.

She looked at Mia again. She didn't seem angry at all. She only stated it. So, Vickey calmed down with just a small snort.

"Oh, was I quiet?" asked Jeff, perfectly understanding Vickey's message. "I'm sorry."

Vickey gave him another scary look. "That moron is apologizing!" she thought in herself, burning inside but trying not to show it.

"I can't wait to see your hexes, Mia!" said he, trying to atone for he just did. Or said. "It will be awesome! I've heard eight first years are Mudbloods. Can you even believe that? I would burn it if someone asked me what to do!"

Vickey looked at him giving a nod. "Thank goodness," she thought. "This moron almost disgraced me."

Albus blinked. He too had forgotten that their fathers had been arch enemies at Hogwarts. True, they were civil with one another in public these days, but there was still their history and who knew what Malfoy told Scorpius at home about Harry Potter. Albus sighed hearing him say his father wanted to be the centre of attention, but Rose got there first.

"He never wanted that at all! He hated being stared at or gaped at when he was out in public so he wouldn't do something like that, JUST to get attention" She said with a slight huff.

She knew Scorpius hadn't meant it, but the thought of Draco talking of her uncle badly made her annoyed.

"That's all past now anyway. He's dealt with it and moved on. He doesn't get treated like that when we go out at all thank goodness" Albus said thoughtfully as rain began to lash at the windows.

Mia raised her eyebrow suspiciously at Jeff. Why was he being so quiet? Usually he had something to say. Was he anxious about going back to Hogwarts maybe? Or maybe all this talk of Dark arts was making him nervous. Still, she decided not to push it. She couldn't be bothered starting a row with a non mudblood.

"Heh, i'd love to hex one of the Potter or Weasley kids. But for now, I guess those first years will do" She said spitefully, glancing out at the corridors to see if there were any passing by.

"Sorry," said Scorpius. "I guess you are both right. I shouldn't have said it. It just slipped out."

He knew actually slipping out is even worse than saying something on purpose, since it shows person's true feelings. Still, he somehow hoped this would excuse him a bit. Sure, Harry Potter might not be a jerk. He only knew one side of the story. Both Albus and Rosie were great, and all the other Potters he knew were as well.

Yeah. He definitely rushed with it.

"Anything to eat? I'm starving," he asked, so he could change a subject.

Jeff nodded. Yeah, he was too quiet, not quite for being scared. He was more of confused, having to listen such conversations out of nowhere. He simply had nothing to say. He often had nothing to say in Victoria's presence. It would be that he was more scared of her than Dark Arts. Yeah, that would explain it.

Anyway, he decided to answer Mia. She didn't seem as scary as Vickey did. At least, from his point of view.

"Neither Potter or Weasley are Mudbloods", remarked he. "They are all said to be Half-bloods. But, you can hex them, nevertheless. We'll be very much pleased to assist you with it, won't we?"

Vickey agreed. She hated Potters and Weasleys even more than she hated Mudbloods. From her point of view, people who betrayed their own kind were even worse than those who were just born as rubbish.

"But what about that little Scorpius guy? He is Malfoy, but I've heard he always hangs out with those idiots, Albus and Rose. What a shame."

She stopped for a moment, and then asked, "When will we end this damn trip anyway!? I hate this damn train. I wish Hogwarts used better way of transport. It's so much Muggle-like."
