Escape from the Zoo

This roleplay starts in the New York Zoo. It is supposed to end in the endless savannah of Africa. Let's start:

In the Zoo, an old lion, two lionesses and three cubs are living together in their enclosure. The old lion is the grandson of Kovu and Kiara. He was captured by humans when he was a young adult. He really hates the humans, because they took him away from his land, his family and, worst of all, his mate and two cubs, that are still in Africa.

He is the first lion that was putted in the enclosure. A few weeks later the two lionesses are brought in. They were born in another Zoo, and they don't know anything about the free and wild life outside the bars of the enclosure. One of them is pregnant when they arrive at the New York Zoo. She gives life to three cubs.

So there's six leonines in that zoo enclosure. I'm going to let you guys really free on this one. The goal of this RP is to get those lions to Africa from that Zoo. What happens? Who decides to leave? How do they travel that far, beeing unnoticed? You can go crazy with this, use your fantasy, humor is welcome too! You can even make it a bit absurd, as long as it's fun to read and understandable.

Here are the open characters:

The old lion. You can choose him and give him a name. Kovu's grandson.
Personality: a bit grumpy, pessimistic about life. Since he's the oldest, he's seen as the wise leader of the group. The cubs see him as their granddad and act this way towards him. He has dark grey mane and dark brown fur, with some grey spots in it. The area around his eyes are grey too.

Lioness one: The mother of the three cubs. Name her. Sweet and caring, also carefull and aware of the dangers there may lurk behind those bars. She's a bit overprotective towards her cubs, wants them to be clean, polite and gracefull. Her fur colour resembles to Sarabi.

Lioness two: You can name her. Adventurous, sometimes dreams of getting away from the zoo. Full of energy and humour, she can be seen as the comic relief in this RP. She's like the Bad Example towards the cubs, brings bad ideas into their heads, but has no harmfull meanings towards the cubs. She always tries to cheer the old lion, but most of the time she just uses the wrong words and gets into a little arguiment with him. Her skin colour is reddish brown, slighty lighter than Scar.

Cub one: the oldest cub, name him, he's a boy. He has a dark brown fur and a white tail and hair tuft. He's the tough guy of the cubbies, likes to show off and acts like a leader. He tries to be like the old lion, but never gets any attention of that lion at all. He's sometimes a bit bossy towards his two siblings.

Cub two: the middle cub, name her, she's a girl. She has light brown fur, no tufts on her head. Tail tuft is greyish brown. She's playfull and happy, but can be serious too. She has a strong bond with the adult lionesses and the old lion. He really sees after her. She also "mothers" over the youngest cub. She argues with her older brother when he tries to command her or is bossy towards her and the 3rd cub.

Cub three: the youngest cub, name him, he's a little boy. This cub is very light coloured, a bit like Mheetu. He has dark spots on top of his head and back. He's shy and sticks to his sister. The lionesses think he's the most adorable creature that ever existed, but his oldest brother and the old lion think he's just a push over.

The storyteller: as a storyteller, you give an overview to the situation, you describe the atmosphere, write a little summary of the things that have happened so far. You make the story between the RP actions.

"Fag" is an highly offensive word, I'm sure a mod wouldn't let such a disrespectful term be used on MLK.

I see 2 people want to play cub 3. Shall I make a twin out of that? In that case, we have four cubs? Or does one of you want to play another lion of the group?
