Urgh.
I'll just say where it is on the forum.
It's in the MLP Fan Club part.
A surprise for whoever actually cares.
Which so far has been no one.

Maybe I'm just weird, but I see having the internet for stability as a good thing- so long as you have a good connection. The reason is that the internet can go wherever you go, and the distractions and friends you have there can be accessed at any given point should they be needed. Of course, it would be better to have something besides just the internet, but having it is much preferable (imo) than having no stability at all.

I agree. But, on a somewhat related note, I do get the feeling that something is missing. I dunno. It's weird.

Well I can only speculate as to what things might be missing, but good luck figuring out whatever it is and finding it.

The weather is gonna suck when we go to the US/MX border tomorrow. 'Bout 100 F / 38 C expected down there. That is not normal for this time of year. Probably the only good thing about it is that it'll be a dry heat instead of a summer type sweltering one.

Try being more optimistic with things in life. Don't think or expect the worst. Think and expect the best. Image

I'm pretty sure I know what it is. It's a combination of a lot of things. I could be wrong though.

It's not like that. I don't even know what 'the best' would be.

The only thing I saw was from like a week ago.

Actually, to elaborate on that:

My theory is that many people, myself especially, are very disconnected with their instinct. While I don't believe there is any sort of meaning to life, I do believe that there are certain ways we have *evolved* to live.

This may be a bit of a stretch, but I really don't think evolution has caught up with our 21st century lifestyles yet. That's where I speculate that all the problems start to arise.

I know I tend to get fixated on problems that are rather trivial in reality, and I know I'm not the only one. This does not mean that I am "ignoring" the true meaning of life, because there's no such thing. Yet, I do think my life would be a lot "better" in a more simplistic, primitive society. Granted, there would be more problems, but such problems would be approached and rewarded in an entirely different manner.

In essence, I think what we're trying to do is fight against all natural instincts. Naturally, I should be spending my time hunting, making weapons, building structures out of wood and animal skins, exploring, fighting, talking, or sleeping, really.

Instead, I spend most of my time either working on assignments for school, or doing something on my computer. Where's the excitement in that? For most of us, much of what we do lacks any significant value, because our needs are already met.

There are many professions that this does not apply to, but as a student, I don't fall into that category. Everything I do gets thrown in the recycle bin at the end of the semester.

In many ways, what it all comes down to is that, even though I live in a first world country, I feel like many of the basic human needs seem to be missing from my life at times. As I said, it's like something is missing.

Now that I've said all that, it's about time for me to get some sleep. And, before I forget, I really appreciate your help. It means a lot. :asleep2:
