I don't care for furries... But I know you guys from MLK and I'm not holding that against you. ;) I guess it's just the furries I've met that are truly the annoying ones. :headache: (but I'm not saying that about all furries)

SM: That last one isn't the only definition of furry. For example, I'm a furry, but I don't really care for the anthro stuff. If you asked 10 furries their definition of "furry" you'd get 10 definitions. It's different for everyone. It's just silly to generalize based on the actions/beliefs/preferences of a single group.

And I find offense with your second reason there. That's never a reason to dislike someone, especially in the context you're using it when it's irrelevant.

I know a lot of furries. Not all of them suck, but some of them do. I can't really find a word for that particular kind of furry, but I know which kind of furry pisses me off :grr3: the ones with the persecution complex, the ones that allow it to take over their entire lives, the ones that start to get a bit meglomaniacal about it, ones that instantly dismiss anyone who doesnt like furries 100% as a troll..the list goes on. But like any group, there are cool members too :) my friend Ian is a good example of that. Very nice guy.

No, I used to enjoy looking through the fandom though, and I like too look at the suits they wear.

You know, I find you people who say that all furries are bad people, as horribly insulting. You know, they said the same thing about black people in the 50's, and what did that lead too? What did saying that about the Jews lead too?

Think about it. It's the person, not the group.

I'm not a furry. I can’t stand furries. I don’t believe what they believe, and I don’t understand why anyone else does. Now going into what I don’t like about it would be fruitless, as they are all personal problems and not problems having to do with the actual people. Really, I mean no offense. I just don't agree with it, that doesn't mean I have a particular problem with the people who do believe it.

I'm almost totally clueless as to what a "furry" is. I also think you guys missed that those users weren't saying all furries were like that, just some that they knew were. or at least that goes for the posts on this page, since I only now realized this is several pages of posts. so don't over react about that.

lmao, we need the "What the crap's a furry?" option  maybe if we try Wikipedia we'll get a better result. since I heard there was a furry Wiki out there, granted I don't really know.

Well when someone asks what a furry is, it's kind of hard to give a definition. If I'm not mistaken, furries usually feel a strong connection between them and animals or their own characters. I believe they become one with them. They are also into anthro art. Some aren't as extreme, and some are.

Now some furries would agree or disagree, I'm really not sure. I guess it's kind of what ever you interpret it to mean.
