Inside the den a pale colored lioness was still asleep. From the shadows another lioness approached her and nudged her softly with her nose.

"Nala?... Nala please wake up."

Nala slowly opened her eyes to take a look at who was calling her name. She was greeting by a scruffy looking face and brilliant violet/blue eyes. The face smiled at her and plopped down next to her.

"Why good morning Vitani, what is it that you need?" Nala asked the scruffy lioness. Vitani looked down at her paws before answering, "I was wondering if you wanted to go hunting with me..." she asked softly. Ever since the war ended, Vitani had been pretty much alone. Her mother was dead, so was her favorite brother and the only family she had left had his own life now with Kiara. She was lonely. Nala could tell Vitani was feeling sad about something so she smiled, stretched and stood up. "Sure dear, let's go find ourselves some breakfast." Vitani got up eagerly and followed Nala out of the den.
