Do you think that Simba's overprotecting Kiara

Well, he was, but it was because he lost his father and his son, so he wanted to protect his daughter. I know how it feels, I'm also overprotective to my cat coz most of my cats died because of cars and male cats.

My theory:
From the story of the cub at the end of TLK, the filmakers said that his name used to be Kopa. Now I think that Kopa must have been killed by one of the pridelanders, maybe even Zira. So Simba developed a hate for all the Outlanders because they killed his first child and his only son. When Kiara was born, Simba felt a new hope and figured that he would protect Kiara at all costs and wouldn't let her have contact with the outlanders. I think that Disney does things kinda like that. It reminds me a lot of Finding Nemo, but of course, he went through a lot more, having like 200 or more babies killed and eaten by a fish! But that's of the subject. Now I DO Simba was kind of hard on Kiara and he could of had her have more freedom, in the end, he turned out to be sort of a tyrant to Kiara. Then Kiara started to hate him and etc. Now this is very long and boring and I don't want to make it a fan-fic so what do you guys think?

Damn right he is, but he isn'r doing it to be an asshole, it just shows he cares about her, even if not in the best way for Kiara's sake.

I personally beleive that something happened to Kopa and that led to his extreme over protectivness, yes this is never stated, but it's a theory and I like it when they leave some plot elements to your imagination.

No, if a murderous women was out to get me and my child, I would not let my daughter play with her kids


I wouldn't let her out of my sight! I would get witness protection or something similar!


But, I would try and make sure she had someone to play with (Hence why I've made a few fan-cubs to be friends with Kiara) I know how tricky is it without friends to play with.

(I currently have no real life friends, they're all off at uni. My only friends are Ian, who I see once a week, if that and my mother :\)
