A Look In My Eyes

Craig looked at the grizzly but then saw an arrow go into it. Dad...he thought to himself. He looked out ready for anything to happen. He knew his dad wanted to kill him. He then saw Bandhura running towards him. "No Bandhura! Run because you will get hurt!"

Bandhura skidded to a halt infront of Craig and her honey colored eyes glanced towards the forest, "I wont leave you.." she responded panting heavily. She nudged Craig forward with her snout, "What should we do..?"

*George scanned the mist for any signs of two grey wolves, his bow in his hand ready to fire*

I know you're out there!! he shouted across the ravine..

Craig looked at Bandhura crazily. "What should we do?! What else? Run!" Craig tried to run in the opposite direction of the arrow. "Come on hurry! Maybe we can lose him."

Bandhura's ears flattened back to her skull as she heard George's voice through the smoke and she dipped low to the dirt. She spied Craig running off and she slowly made her way behind him. She followed close to his tail her honey colored eyes glancing back over her shoulder, "Craig..hurry.." she growled softly to keep him moving.

"I am hurrying!" Craig tried to go as fast as he could through the forest. He hoped his dad would not find him. He ran so hard his legs hurt again. He tried to run but tripped again. "Oof. Oh great." Craig kept running not wanting to be killed. His breathing was the fastest he ever heard in his life.

Bandhura ran close behind Craig and when he tripped she tried to leap over him, "Ahh.." she yelled as her back paws got caught on him. She rolled in front on him and she gazed up at the mountain, "Craig.." she muttered softly swiping her face with her paw.

"We have to hurry. If he is following us and I know he is he will never give up until I am dead." Craig started climbing up the mountain. It was very steep and he almost tripped. "Whoah. Watch your step okay?" He found a path that looked pretty sturdy and seemed to wind all the way up the mountain. "Let's follow that path over there."

Bandhura let out a snort and shook her pelt free of dirt and sticks before following beside Craig, "Don't worry..I'm fine." she said and stepped ahead of him. Her tail swished behind her as she stepped onto the dirt trail and stared up the mountain, "Well..lets go get you changed back.." she added stepping lightly.

"Sorry about that." Craig did not notice Bandhura covered in dirt and twigs. I have to worry about more than just me...he thought. "Yeah changed back. Yeah that's what I always wanted," Craig said sarcastically. Craig went ahead on the path. "You know you could just go I mean I can go on by myself and uh...you see you will not be in danger from my father. If he sees you he will know you travel with me and that will be danger for you."
