Most disturbing movie(s) you've ever seen?

I honestly can't think of any and I've seen quite a few movies. But there probably are some but I just can't seem to recall.

God, I've seen a lot of disturbing films, but I've forgotten the names of most of them...anyway, I'll just the the ones I can remember.

1. Salo
2. A Serbian Film
3. The Image
4. Human Centipede (not as bad as the others, just...gross)

Caligula. A late 70s movie about an insane roman emperor who tortures, rapes, and kills his own people.

Even just mentioning this movie on a Lion King forum might put me in danger of getting banned... (which I hope not).

I saw the Imperial version. I am not a fan of gore/violence but even I was all 'meh'.


Felidae-Just creepy as Hell.

Lolita-(with Jeremy Irons) -There was one part in particular where I did jump/shake. I still feel uneasy whenever I think about it.

To the person that mentioned Black Swan. I just saw it the other day. Very good film. The part where she was peeling her skin and the feathers was just...BRRRR!!

I would say I am more 'disturbed' by movies that take you out of your comfort zone psychologically than if I see violence. Keep in mind I don't play violent video games and I do sometimes squint at violent movies but not enough to turn me off.
