Could Zira be Scar's daughter?

I know these kind of theories aren't canon but I was thinking today about what kind of other relationship Zira could've had to Scar other than an extremely loyal follower/mate. She couldn't be his sister but what if she was his daughter? I know it's probably crazy but what's your opinions on this possible theory?

If I recall correctly, it's official that Zira is a generation older than Simba - making her of Scar's generation. This means that she can't be his daughter.

Scar probably didn't have a mate as all of the Pridelander lionesses rose up against so none of them had any sexual feelings for them. Also, remember none of the Outsider lionesses were present because they weren't created yet so I assume they were served as an separate hunting party since Scar wasn't satisfied with Sarabi's. Another fact to take to account is that none of the Outsider lionesses except Zira and Vitani are given prominent roles in Simba's Pride so, if Zira was Scar's daughter, why doesn't she mention her mother? Why isn't she driving Zira to drive Kovu to avenge Scar? Finally, an obvious notation is that she calls Scar by his name, not by "Dad". So, I think it's hard to believe Zira is Scar's daughter.

Darrell Rooney cleared up a while ago that Zira is not Scar's mate, but she was written to be before they rewrote her as a follower to avoid the characters taking part in incest. Fans can still believe what they want, but they should still be aware of the truth.

Zira's age was never confirmed as far as I have heard. If Zira was a generation older than Simba, she will be almost as old as Sarabi. This leads to the question how can she still be able to compete in a fight with Simba? I reckon Zira to be just slightly older than Simba and Nala, but still in the same generation.

This is an interesting idea. I've played around with it before actually. As lions, I don't think incest is really thought of as right or wrong in their eyes, lol. I guess Zira could have been Scar's daughter for all I know. That would certainly have put a spin on things. xD

Well if Zira was from the same generation as Scar she wouldn't have been too old to fight Simba. Also before Zira move in to confront Simba he had been several fighting several Outlader lionesses single pawed. Zira must have felt that Simba wad been wore down before she confronted him, plus as she moved in she had two outlander lionesses with her ( I assume as back up in case Simba was more aggressive that she suspected). Once she saw that Simba was weakened that she thought she could take him, she decided to fight him 1 on1.

I actually like the idea of Zira and Scar being siblings.

But, that would mean that she was Mufasa's sister as well.

You know, this is quite an interesting concept. It would certainly add a whole new perspective to SP, considering that Zira thought Simba *actually* killed Scar, and didn't know that Scar killed Mufasa.

Really, it's no more flawed than the rest of SP.

Hmm, that's an interesting idea I've never thought of. I've always assumed she was more like Scar's age. The brother and sister idea is interesting too, but I'm sure that if they were, she would have had a role in the first movie, unless she came in from a different tribe when she heard Mufasa died. But still, I'm not sure that's likely. The fact that they were originally meant to be a couple tells me that they are mostly likely not siblings or father and daughter.
