What would TLK be like if Mufassa never died?

And then the secret would spill out, and Mufasa would put two and two together, and Scar would be banished forever. Seriously, this would most likely have happened if Muffy had just survived that fall. >.>

Well, if Mufasa never died, there basically wouldn't be a storyline. The whole story is Simba is blaimed for his father's murder, runs away and learns Hakuna Matata, realizes that he must face his past, and returns to claim the throne. If Mufasa never died, that would never had happened. But yes, if Mufasa servived the fall, Scar would be banished.

It's sad that Mufasa died, yes, but that's of the things that make this movie great.

Scar would've been banished because Mufasa doesn't have the heart to kill his own brother. Those loyal to Scar may or may not have revolted against Mufasa causing them to be banished along side Scar.

Well, the movie certainly would have lacked some of its original emotional aspects. I don't think it would be meaningful if Mufasa had lived. Also, Scar would obviously be screwed after Mufasa figured out what he tried to do. ;P
