Bought the Les Mis novel..... I think this book is going to be a challenge!

I finished it yesterday, don`t even know how long it took me. I had bought the unabridged version, but ended up skimming through the parts that didn`t relate directly to the characters as it became too heavy and detailed for me, and the story itself wasn`t exactly a lightweight. I am really glad I read it though, it was so nice to get more insight into the characters and the story and learn what lies beyond the musical or the films.
