His History: during his mortal life, Aurios was a very brave and wise lion even as a cub. he was very handsome. females wanted him to lead their pride, and males wanted to be him. when he became mature, he met Zoraida his mate. their time was long before Mufasa's time, but they were so wise that the King of the time asked for their help very much. both he and Zoraida helped protect all lions, Outsiders included. they were very highly respected and some people thought theyy should rule, but they declined when told they should overtake the throne. when Zoraida died by sacrificing her life for the King who was about to die, Aurios fell into despair. He did not leave her body for a long time and was on the verge of death when Zoraida returned as The Lion Goddess. he rejoiced her return and believed Zoraida's story of her death and rebirth. but, a while later, Zoraida became very threatened by a group of bachelor lions, Aurios fought them off. Zoraida could have used magic to defeat them, but she knew it was Aurios's destiny to sacrifice himself to protect the power of The Lion Goddess. he died a short while after the fight. he then also returned like Zoraida, and his bond with Zoraida made him into the Lion God. and they still roam the earth together, protecting the King of Beasts, the Greatest of Great Cats.
