If they're dead, they're gone. I like to make up stories about how they grew up and what they became Way more inspiring than some random killing

well, in my own personal theories, Kopa does die but Mheetu lives. I figured his father (which is Mega for me) took him to another pride when things started getting bad during Scar's reign. then Mheetu decided to stay with them instead of going back.

Because they wereve NEVER mentioned in the movies and because life is not fair. Also, Scar probably killed Mheetu or exiled him because he could take the throne like he did. And Zira probably killed Kopa, because why would Simba exile them? For being in Scar's side is kinda racist

Mufasa exhiled them for stirring up trouble before Kopa was ever born. Simba just re-exhiled them when he came back cause he was trying to be too much like his father, and had a bit too-perfect a view on his father. but if you think about it, that can't be why Zira was exhiled or else Simba wouldn't have offered to let her come back to the pride when the Outlanders turned on her. cause that's something very deserving of permanent exhile.

it is most likely that Kopa died, though. that would really explain why Kiara was born when Kovu and Vitani were still cubs. if Kopa hadn't died, Nala would've had to wait until he was an adolescent to have another litter.

now Mheetu either died during Scar's reign or was exhiled as most young males are in real lion prides.

I have a new theory about Mheetu:

He was born during Scar's reign. Scar wanted to kill the cub, but Sarafins begged him not to. Scar made a deal with Sarafina: He would let the cub live, but he would have to marry Nala when she was a young adult. When she grew up. Scar told her that, but Nala run away. Scar rushed to Sarafina and told her that he had to kill Mheetu because Nala run away. But Sarafina didn't let Scar do that, so Scar killed her. But Mheetu was watching the whole scene, so he ran away as fast as he could so Scar wouldn't kill him.

I’ve never thought much about Mheetu at all, to be honest.
It would have been great if he had been in the movie, though, he could have been together with Nala and Sarafina during the Bath Scene. I mean, he could have had just one line, like "Can I come with you?" or something. Then Nala (or Sarafina) could have told him no.

(When it comes to Kopa, I believe that he died in an accident as a cub, which is why Simba is so overprotective of Kiara. I don’t believe Zira or any other Outlander had anything to do with Kopa dying.)

To be honest, I want Mheetu to be like a main character. Like secretly joining Simba and Nala on the I just can't wait to be king scene. S&N realize Mheetu is will them and take him with them. And Simba could have saved Mheetu instead of Nala. <3 And originally, has was gonna be set as a trap for Simba in the stampede by Scar, but they deleted him from the final film. =(
