Ugh, really? I'll have to talk to my advisor before I'll know if I can get out of that class. If they aren't offering the first level of Italian next semester, I might be stuck in Japanese. 
EDIT: scratch that. It looks like there's loads of sections of German and Spanish available this semester, so those should be available next time, too. If the first level of at least one of them is available, I'll be ok.
