NO! TLK is just a part of who I am. Enough said. If I gave up on it, I'd give up on a part of my soul.

TLK has been apart of my childhood. It's always been with me and just thinking about it gives me tons of nostalgia. I don't think I'll ever truly grow out of it. For me it's not just another kids movie. But a great movie with wonderul animation, good lessons and a fantastic villain. Sure, it has it's issues, I'm sure. But we can always look past that and just appreciate it for what it truly is, An amazing movie!

Nope, not gonna happen.
I was practically born with TLK.
It means to much to me to just let it go

Absolutely not. The Lion King means the absolute world to me.
This is an excerpt from my fanfiction.net page
"Make fun of me all you like, but if I didn't have this film things would be very different right now. It was one of the first things I ever knew from when I was small, and has had a constant presence in my life for nearly 15 years now. It was the first film I ever saw (one of them, any way), the first stage show I ever saw, the first fanfic I ever wrote, the first songs I ever sang, the first DVD I ever owned, the first thing I searched the first time I went to Youtube, my life's first passion, and the spark that lit the fire for my love of Disney and animation. It led me to my favorite TV show ("Home Improvement"). It helped me learn French and Spanish for my GCSE exams ("Le Roi Lion" and "El Rey Leon" respectively). It led me to my life's true calling (writing). And, in more serious terms, when I was depressed and cutting myself it was one of the only things that could calm me down. Even now, with my anxiety struggles, it helps me a great deal. You may think this is weird, but The Lion King is my all. It was there when my life began, and was there when I nearly ended it."

^ is it weird? The general consensus would lead me to believe the answer is yes.

But the general consensus is totally wrong. It's a good movie. What's not to like? One does not simply 'grow out of' liking TLK.

Exactly. If something is good, and you enjoy it, then you keep on liking it :)

Never in a million years. The roar has been heard around the world for almost 19 years now, and for me, it will continue to roar for the next 100.

I turned 27 earlier this month. I think it`s a little late to grow out of stuff, lol. I have loved TLK since I was 8, and will do so forever.

I recently thought I was too old for it, but when I saw it about one year ago I became interested in it again, so. I don'tthink it's possibletoo grow out of it. I'm already 22 years old.
