A Look In My Eyes

Bandhura nodded as she ran after Craig, she leapt up onto a ledge and pulled herself up. She followed Craig into the Cave, she stopped for a second panting heavily. "Do you see him..watch for him.." she whispered. She stepped towards the entrance and poked her head out glancing through the rain. "Theres too much rain.." she whined. She shook her pelt and got rid of some rain water that was weighing her down.

Thank you for helping me back there. I...feel safer with no one else but you. I truly mean that. Craig then laid down. He was tired but he knew he was not safe yet. Not while his father was out there. He waited for things to quiet down a bit.

Bandhura's honey colored eyes glanced to Craig and she nodded, "Your welcome." she said smiling. She laid to laying to her belly by the entrance, she crossed her paws and rested her maw on them. She was exhausted and couldn't get the idea of her mother out of her head.

Hey I'll watch you go to sleep okay? Good. Craig smiled. He was starting to develop feelings for Bandhura which he couldn't explain. That really scared him there. He thought to himself, I killed her mother! There is no way she has feelings for me!

Bandhura nodded and closed her honey colored eyes, she let out a sigh as she fell asleep. She curled up in a little ball and shivered slightly from the cold rain. "We can keep moving tomorrow." she said softly.

He will never give up until I am dead. You go on without me. He is not looking for you. You will be safe. I will go ahead and accept my fate okay? Craig then looked down. His dad would never stop and he was tired of playing cat and mouse.

Bandhura opened her eyes and stood up to her paws, she got frusterated with Craig. Her growled slightly his way, "You don't understand I'm not leaving you." she said shaking head, she looked out at the rain. "You prolly aren't going to believe me but I saw my mother..in the clouds. She said if we go to the highest mountain above the Red River..we can find the "Great Spirit". The one that changed you..Craig..to change you back.." she said softly stepping towards him. Her honey colored eyes glanced away and she lifted her snout pointing deeper into the mountains, "The river isn't far from here.."

Me back? Craig was not sure if he wanted to change back. If that happens you know you will not see me again? The "Great Spirit" is what my ancesters believed in. Um I did not know the spirit really existed. Your mother? Are you sure?

Bandhura reclined back to her haunches in front of Craig, "I know I wont see you again, But...its what you wanted." she said coldly. She looked back out the cave as the rain slowed down and she sighed, "My Mother..yes..the great spirit too. It does exist...you have to believe." she said looking at him.

What I wanted? Yes. I did before I uh...got close to you I did. Now I don't know if I want to change back. But I have to! Because my dad will never stop hunting me!
