Sirom glanced over to Songo and carefully listened to what she was instructing him to do. Trapping the zebra both ways sounded like a great idea and he simply nodded in response with a sly smile, knowing too well that there could be nothing wrong with this sort of plan. Getting himself comfortable, Sirom briefly watched the enervated zebra trying to keep up with the rest of the herd as he slowly licked over his ebony muzzle lips already anticipating the first fresh meat.
Without much warning, Songo ventured on ahead to flank the zebra's weak side on the left. Surprised how quick she was moving, Sirom immediately moved up on all fours and bolted in a direction which was the zebra's blind spot. He wasn't fully aware that Songo was kicked back onto the ground until he heard a loud roaring pain. Shocked and puzzled, Sirom let out a fierce roar and leaped high into the air with sprawled out forearms, tackling the zebra down into the soil roughly. Applying a tight pressure around its neck, Sirom made sure to cut out the oxygen of the easy prey and waited out till all of the frustrating kicks diminished. Feeling the zebra struggle, Sirom applied even more pressure around its neck, making sure there was no possible way for this prey to escape his grasp. After a few minutes of struggling, the zebra finally gave its last few effort of kicks and fell motionless.
Sirom loosened his grasp and darted quickly over to Songo who was still laying where she was assaulted.
"Songo! Are you okay?" The young lion asked nervously, observing her wounds to make sure they weren't severe.
