I had watched Hercules and loved Scar but also felt sorry for him.

I love Scar, and the Disney movie Hercules. On the one hand, I do like the reference, but at the same time, I`m not into taxidermy animals or throw rugs made from animals skins.. Hercules standing with Scars pelt on his head is.. well, kinda gross, but I can`t deny that I appreciate the reference.

At least we know, that whatever the hyenas did to Scar, he survived intact enough to be used as a pose rug in Greece.

It's been a while since I've seen Hercules, but if I'm not mistaken, the legend states that he kills Leo, the king of beasts. Hercules then wears Leo's pelt, which is probably the 'throw rug' we see.

That's pretty disappointing. Who knew the king of beasts didn't have the lion's share when it comes to brute strength. My name deserves better than that.

At least now we have the answer to Kovu's question. Yes, Scar is up there. It wasn't Mufasa or any of the other kings at all.
