Did you get dissapointed?

Postby SimbasMate » October 20th, 2009, 9:13 pm

Okay the title was too long, but I was going to ask if anyone got dissspointed when they found out TLK3 was based on Timon & Pumbaa? Or rather.. more of Timon. Did you guys? I did. I thought it was going to include Kopa, but when I saw that it was based on the comic relief characters I got kinda just ugh. I find those two annoying. I think that TLK3 should of been based on Kopa. So, what do you guys think?

Well... I didn't know too much about the Lion King, so I didn't get disappointed.
I watched the movie last year, and it wasn't bad. I enjoyed it and I still do, even though I'm much more of a fan than before.

A question:
Did anybody say that there weren't going to be more TLK movies?
:ehh2:[/quote]

Well we don't know yet. I don't think there is. I'm not fully sure why though.. but it'd be nice to have another LK movie.

Yeah I did get dissapointed when I found out this wasn't a sequel or prequel, or just new Simba adventures, but some recycling with my least favorite character in the main role.
It sucked, except for the beginning scene with the digga-tunna song.

I did get disapointed at some of the scenes used in it like...where Simba and Nala got reunited for the first time in years and it quickly showed Timon and Pumbaa behind Simba and Nala than not being in front of them...watch both of the movies at where Nala screams in excitment and you'll see what I mean ;)

I know.. that was very annoying. :P I'm not complaining it's just how I see it. So no offence to the T&P fans. ;)

I wasn't dissipointed when I found out. Only because where I live, they call it The Lion King 1 1/2. Now The Lion King 3.

Yes, I was dissapointed. I’m not a Timon/Pumbaa fan, and I found TLK3 to be a parody of the original movie. The one thing I enjoyed was the scenes with cub/teen Simba in the jungle, it was very interesting to learn more about Simbas life in the jungle, and it was great to see some of Teen Simba. 8-)

Other than that, the whole movie is just..bleh. I honestly think Disney should have made a collection of short stories (showing how Simba grew up in the jungle, and stories about other characters) instead of a full length feature that makes fun of the original epic TLK.

...but that’s just me. :innocent:
