I wish people could just make their minds up for Christ's sake =/ is it that hard to tell me if you're busy on Monday or not? Jeez. Making me feel really good about this whole thing, maybe you don't even want to hang out eh? -_-

Well, today Wesker is behaving very well. I got him out earlier for cuddles and he didn't bite me at all or threaten which was nice. Snape went back to the vet (I did not like him :\) and apparently he's looking ok but needs to go back AGAIN in five days. So yes... All is peaceful in ratty village for the moment.

Quite true actually. The only reason I don't argue with Woeler is that it's pointless to argue with one who only sees the negative.

Maybe that's because you have the useless need to love everybody. Wanna say this world is great and humanity is lovely? Go right ahead, but keep in mind that it's an insult to every single child starving in Africa.

People lie. If you can fake sincerity you can fake almost anything. That's why philanthropy is a lie. People don't have it because they love others so much. They have it because it makes them feel good about themselves.

This is not even philanthropy anymore. It might have evolved into some form of stockholm syndrome.

I don't only see the negative. I compare the two and conclude that there is a lot more negative. You on the otherhand, ignore the negative.

To think ill of mankind and not wish ill to them, is perhaps the highest wisdom and virtue.
~William Hazlitt

My hate is general, I detest all men;
Some because they are wicked and do evil,
Others because they tolerate the wicked,
Refusing them the active vigorous scorn
Which vice should stimulate in virtuous minds.

~Molière 1666, Le misanthrope

This world isn't lovely. Not everyone loves everyone. That doesn't mean that I don't. I care for every person that has ever walked this earth. Yes even the most evil of us all. Do I think there should be a death penalty for anyone? No. Do I think what people do on a regular basis is ok? No. Does me hating man for the things they do going to change what they do? No. If I could give my life to change this world once and for all I would do it in a heart beat. I can't change the whole world, but I'll be damned if I'm going to lose a faith in humanity and hate it. Yes terrible terrible things man has done, but from the ashes we shall rise like a Phoenix. Why hate man for what they've done when you can love them for who they are?
