Ahaha Simba said his paws hurt like hell. XD
Yeah, I thought that was funny too. Obviously that expression isn't as frowned upon in Germany as it is in the States, since it was used in a kids' comic.
It was really nice to discover another TLK comic...I thought I had read them all. And a new character, the rhino! I love the first and the last pic with all the lionesses in the cave!
There's actually one more comic that I know of, but it has no lionesses in it, only Timon and Pumbaa. I may translate it when I have the time. I like all the lionesses too -- if you look closely, you'll see that there are a couple with lighter front paws but uncolored back paws, and vice-versa. Maybe they're related to Malka's mother, who also has uncolored hind feet. ; )
what's really cool is in some coloring books there's pictures of Simba and Nala sliding through water/mud on a leaf! only Nala's not so happy about it, and after Simba's big air there I'd say not lol.
Hmm, that's interesting. Maybe the author might have been inspired by those pictures.
I expected the rhino to freak out when Simba stood under him. I mean, in SP the rhino's chased Kovu and Kiara.. this rhino is just a friendly one

But I love it, such a sweet comic

with no bad guys in it!
Agreed. It sort of has a deeper meaning if you look into it a bit -- a sort of "let go of the past and live in the present" sort of message.
A little side note: this is the third comic where Nala has ear rims, although unlike the other two times she appeared like this (Malka's comic and Tama's comic) she doesn't have blue (or red) eyes. I swear, that blue-eyed, ear-rimmed Nala
must be Nala's stunt double who took over for her in SP (assuming she lost her ear rims as she matured).
