A Look In My Eyes

Bandhura listened to him explain he didn’t know what wolves do; she cocked her head to the side and stared at him. “We Live..I guess we do all those things, plus more.” she replied back to him. Bandhura stood up to her paws and she glanced around, her ears flickering as she listened closely. “We should keep moving, we don’t want the humans to find us..” she said stepping away from Craig. She left small little paw prints in the mud, she traveled north away from her home. But to Bandhura she wasn’t sure where she was going or what her next move was.

Again wolves so predictable. Maybe that is why humans have built cities. Okay let's keep going. Craig traveled a bit until he wanted to ask something. So uh...what do you think of humans? I mean look how advanced they are! I mean come on! Um where are we going anyway?

George was distraught and frustrated. The loss of his son had pushed him over the edge of reason and into the pursuit of brutal revenge. He dragged himself forward and begun to examine the pawprints of his prey...the hunt had begun.

As Bandhura stepped through the dirt and trees, she sighed little. Her small legs were starting to hurt but she couldn’t stop, she had to keep moving. Her golden eyes glanced back at Craig, ”Humans, they are heartless creatures. They kill for fun and they ruin our forests.” she answered in a chilling tone.

As they continued through the forest Bandhura lifted her snout into the air, she sniffed a couple times. Her ears perked forward and she bounded through a bush, “Finally water…” she yelled to Craig. She ran to the bank and lapped up the blue liquid.

Humans kill for fun? Okay. Animals drink in that archaic way. People however are more delicate. Craig went to the water and tired to drink. He put his paw in the water and tried to fish some out. Unfortunately that did not work. Why won't this work! I am thirsty! So what do you eat around here?

Bandhurra’s cranium tilted as she watched Craig drink, ”Umm...do it like this. Humans aren’t delicate..” she grumbled. She stepped up beside Craig and dipped her snout towards the water; her pink tongue fell into the water. ”Ahh..lap it up…” she said showing him how to drink. Putting her paw on her snout she sighed, ”This is uh…going to be harder than I thought” She reclined back to her haunches setting her paw to the ground. ”We need to find food, a dear or rabbit”

Um doesn't that get water all over you Bandhura? I will try it anyway. So Craig reluctantly lapped up the water. What am I doing? I am drinking like a dog...he thought. Wait a little pup like you can catch big game? Craig let out a little laugh. Maybe you should let me do it.

”Yeah, do you know how to hunt?” she asked with a puzzled look. This wolf was a weird one and he made Bandhura’s head hurt. She lay down on her stomach by the bank, her nose lowered to the ground and she inhaled deeply. ”Look for scents..then track them.” she said softly instructing Craig.

Uhh...do I know how to hunt? Yeah tracking the animal is not a problem for me. I have done that loads of times. I just do not know how to...kill the animal. I mean I am used to being uh...never mind. I just do not know how to bring down an animal.

Bandhura raised her paw and showed Craig her nails, then she flashed her canines. Her golden eyes looked back at him, ”Try using your nails and teeth…they come in handy” she said tired. This wolf was getting on her nerves, she was going to starve and be questioned to death.
