Even though this was the last day of her heat, Kiara couldn’t resist herself as she playfully pounced Kovu down into the soft grass, laying her warm body over his as she planted a passionate kiss over his muzzle lips, followed by a long, sensual nuzzle before she moved off of him, speaking to her mate in a teasing manner.
”Oh, I wish Honey, but I just left Taraji with Nala so she could get something to eat, so we don’t have enough time to play. Besides,” Kiara stated, a more serious look making its way upon her face as she continued. ”I wanted to talk to you about Taraji Honey. I’m a bit concerned about her behavior. She seems so shy and afraid from every little thing.” Taking up a comfortable position next to her mate, placing both of her fore legs over his chest to keep him where he was as she rested her head upon his neck, Kiara resumed. ”Just today, I was trying to teach her how to better use her senses and she got startled by birds chirping. I know that she probably had a rough past Honey, but it seems so odd to me how a cub could be so timid. Maybe I’m just being naive but do you think we should be worried about this? That sort of brings me to our next dilemma Honey. With tonight’s Pride Meeting, what are we going to do with Taraji? If chirping birds is enough to frighten her, a whole pride of strangers would probably give her an accident or something. I just don’t know what to do Honey.”
Sighing softly, Kiara started to lick over Kovu’s neck as she waited for a reply from him, hoping that he’d have some idea of what they could do in regards to their shy little cub.
