You will not believe this but the lionking on the sega dreamcast or whatever is supposbly the hardest game to handle the controls and may people are saying its the hardest game they have ever played! LOL i know you wont beleive this its true.!! Lol

Wasn't on the Dreamcast, it was on the Mega Drive / Genesis. And it's an exaggeration; due to some fiddly controls and a downright confusing on-rails "Can't Wait To Be King" level, the game is a lot more difficult than it should be and a lot of people who played it as children (myself included) were unable to get any further than that particular level, thus we all remember it being hard.
The reality is that it's not too bad if you can make it past that bit.

Another thing is that most people nowadays try to play it on an emulator on a PC or Laptop with a keyboard, making the awkward controls and movements of Simba even more infuriating for their selves.

Also depends on the person playing, for me it's not even in the top 20, for others it would be in the top five easily.

Sooo basically, I will vote "lying" I guess. But why would you make it a poll? Unless you knew that you were lying in the first place, in which case this thread is a spam / troll and that's not cool at all.

It's the hardest game *I've* played, I can say that much. I must have died a thousand and a half times before I got passed that IJCWTBK level.

I will also say that it's the hardest game I ever played. As much as people complain about the controls, it's the only SNES game I've ever played properly (and through an emulator to boot), and I quickly got used to the controls. (Play a fast paced PC-FPS. Then you will learn the definition of slippery controls). I still got stuck on Every. Single. Level.

It's a lot like Rainbow Six 3. But the difference, and why TLK is harder?
1. I didn't have to save-spam my way through RS 3
2. In the middle of RS 3, I had several levels that I blazed through in only 1 or 2 tries.
3. I had to save every 5 seconds in TLK
4. Every level in TLK was insanely hard.

The Genesis version of TLK is a bit better, imo. And there are some games, even on the SNES and Genesis that are harder than TLK. Contra: Hard Corp for example is probably one of the most frustrating games I've ever played, which is on the Genesis.
