Shinova tried to avoid Ace, but finally put Vex down. "Come on you cubs. I can't keep you safe out here. Now that Jengo's body isn't here I'm really worried." Shinova nudged the cubs trying to encourage them to walk towards the Den.

Vex, being young but less stubborn than her mother, began to waddle towards the direction of the den. Meeko hoped Ace would follow, so leapt up onto Shinova's back.

"I hope Nova and Mio are ok" He said awkwardly, unaware Nova was passed out in the jungle somewhere.

As Mio was walking home he saw Nova in the mud. He picked her up and put her on his back and walked to the den. He then cleaned her of her wounds and wiped the mud off her. He put her in the back of the den with the leopard cub then went to go find Shinova and his cubs

After awhile he caught up to him and said let me take them off your hands. As he puts one cub on his back and grab the other by the scruff he said I will see you at home. As he walked in the den Nova was still out cold and he set the cubs down. Ace went to go lie down next to Nova soon Vex followed. Then Mio took the leopard cub and went outside in the rain and made a warm nest protecting it from rain with a few leaves under a tree. Then he got a big sturdy leaf and put water in it for the leopard then he picked the cub up and put it next to the water gentely with the cubs head he lowered it to the water to show that there is water and then walked it to its spot for the night. He and the cub would spend the night outside he made sure the cub was warm and laid behind the leaves with the cub in his arms.

He lied there staring at the water and thought about what Nova said about him being weak. He thought back to when his parents were killed by hyenas and he was to weak to save them. The gave their live for me. I have failed my daughter I didn't die for her. I was to weak to save her. Tears began to roll down his eyes. I have failed everyone even his parents, at least they died to save me. What if Nova doesn't want me anymore. I am to weak for her. He didn't know why he wasn't strong he just was the way he was. He couldn't sleep for the night he just laid there thinking how he failed. He was to embarrassed to confront Nova.

Nova awoke the next morning in the den. She raised her pounding head and looked around the den. It took her a while to realize where she was and looking down she saw Vex and Ace next to her, fast asleep and at peace. She looked around to try and spot Shinova, but the cub wasn't here either. Frowning, Nova got to her feet and began to pace about the cave. [i]Mio must have bought me here.... Did he find Rayn? Did he get her back? Or what if he died? What if he died thinking I hated him?[i] Nova thought.

She halted and grit her teeth. What if he had been killed? It would be all her fault and she'd live with that guilt for the rest of her life. She looked over her shoulder at the cubs. At Ace, who so resembled his father.

"Oh Mio... Im so sorry" She whispered as a tear rolled down her cheek.

Out in the jungle, the young blind leopard cub had stumbled out of the little nest Mio had made for him and was now asleep on the lions paws, looking rather content and pleased to be with him. He purred gently as his little belly moved up and down as he breathed slowly.

Mio licked te cub and purred has he nuzzled the cub. He picked the cub up to go check on Nova and she if she was ok. He was cold and wet from the rain the price he paid he felt he didn't deserve to be comfortable until his daughter was back.

Vex awoke to see her mother awake and active. The cub waddled over to her mother and began trotting round her in circles as if to distract her attention from all the drama.

Mio slowly walked towards Nova being careful. He knew she wasn't happy

Nova looked up at the approaching form of Mio and her words seemed to get caught in her throat. She was relieved he was alright. Angry he didn't have Rayn.. but wait.. What was that he was carrying?

"Mio.. Is that?" She said after sometime looking at the cub she thought was Rayn.

No it's not Rayn I know, but this cub I found was abandoned by the leopards left for dead because it is blind and looks to be smaller than all the other cubs they had. I am going to get Rayn back, but I couldn't let this cub die because of condition. You cannot change what you have so at least he will have a chance to live. I will take care of him and ours, but he will be my responsibility.

I need help with a name though. He needs a name.

Nova looked at the slightly deformed cub who was in between Mio's paws now, falling over as he tried to feel around for his surroundings. He was clumsy, definitely blind and weak, yet for some reason, Nova pitied him even if it was a leopard cub. She should kill it here and now, but would that bring Rayn back? Was it this cubs fault that it's parents took Nova's cub? No. It wasn't. She heaved a loud sigh and looked awkwardly at Mio.

"It can stay" She said after some time.

Vex wandered over now, curious of the newcomer.
