The outlander, with his evil intentions, wanted to cause as much damage as possible. So he got away from Kovu for a split-second and used his claw to inflict a deep gash onto one of Kiara's forepaws. She cried out in pain and struggled against the ropes as blood began to bleed from her paw. "Daddy help me!" she said, wondering why no one had untied her yet.

Kovu and Simba brought the outlander down. Untie Kiara Kovu then you go back to the Pridelands. I will take care of this one. Kovu and Kiara ran to the pridelands while Simba was there alone.

The outlander glared at Simba. "You fool. Hehehe... those two lovebirds are running riiiight into my trap..."

"I mean you've sent them right into my trap by sending them home." the outlander waited for Simba to get up and run out of the cave.

Kiara, Kovu come back! Simba ran out of the cave toward them. He had to get to them before this trap happened.

Suddenly a rope was triggered and Simba's paws were caught in it, rendering him helpless. To make things worse, Kovu and Kiara were already too far away to have heard him. The outlander lion chuckled and hauled Simba back inside.

"I don't need you. But with you out of the way I can get to them much more easily. And do you really think begging will make me give up my plan to take over your precious Pridelands?" the lion snickered evilly and left the cave, tying Simba's muzzle shut with a vine before he left, to prevent any roars for help.

Kovu and Kiara ran as fast as they could until they reached the Pridelands. Quick Mother get evryone ready because that outsider is coming. All of the lionesses and Kovu were ready for anything.
