The cave was dark and had a reddish light illuminating its interior. Kiara was against a wall, her paws tied to the ground with vines and a leaf over her eyes to prevent her from seeing her captor. This was a rather large and tough-looking outlander lion, who was watching Simba intently and holding a claw to Kiara's neck to make sure he didn't try anything.

"She will be safe... so long as you comply with my orders, king. You are to give me control of the Pridelands. Free and clear. If you don't..." he pushed his claw into Kiara's fur a little bit.

"No questions or your daughter gets it! Do you comply?" A greedy, evil smirk appeared on the right side of his mouth as he looked Simba in the eye. Kiara struggled. "Don't do it, Daddy!" she cried before the lion smacked her muzzle shut again.

While Simba was in the cave Kovu was right outside. He had followed Simba and he also knew the outlands. So he knew that there was a secret entrance to the cave from another entrance. He went inside and saw the outlander talking to Simba. Kovu made his move. He jumped and clawed the outlander in the face and sent him on the ground. "You don't touch her! You never touch her!"

[SnowyCheetah]

The outlander groaned underneath Kovu, struggling to get up. Kiara struggled in her bonds. "Kovu?! Is that you?!"
