What's the point of this topic? :? We can all look up the meaning of the lyrics on our own, just saying.

I'll answer it for you:

Lionking.org wrote:Nants ingonyama bagithi Baba [Here comes a lion, Father]
Sithi uhm ingonyama [Oh yes, it's a lion]

Nants ingonyama bagithi baba
Sithi uhhmm ingonyama
Ingonyama [Lion]

Siyo Nqoba [We're going to conquer]
Ingonyama [Lion]
Ingonyama nengw' enamabala [A lion and a leopard come to this open place]

The English translation is in the brackets. Just for typical knowledge, the African language being sung is Zulu.

Ninaroja wrote:Yeah, I always found it funny because tigers don't live in Africa

Tigers? :/ The translated lyrics don't mention tigers. They do mention leopards, which actually do live in Africa.

I got it from a different site
Archives.conlang.info wrote:The Circle of Life (by Elton John - Tim Rice - Zulu lyrics by Lebo Morake)

Nants ingonyama baghiti baba [ There comes a lion ]
Sithi uhmm, ingonyama [ Oh yes it's a lion ]
Siyo nqoba [ We're goning to conquer ]
Ingonyama nengw' enamabala [ It's a lion and a tiger ]

On the day we arrived on the planet
And blinking step into the Sun
There's more to see than can ever be seen
More to do than can ever be done

There's far to much to take in here
More to find than can ever be found
But the sun's rolling high in the sapphire sky
Keeps great and small on the endless round

It's the Circle of Life
And it moves us all
Through despair and hope
Through faith and love

Till we find our place
On the path unwinding
In the Circle,
the Circle of Life

[The Zulu lyrics are trans-scribed to Meyadhew my Bantu-esque lang with different meaning]

Sorry but I really don't see the point of this? I'm sure that the majority of people on here already know the meaning of these lyrics, and if someone should decide to look it up, it's not difficult to find. I wouldn't think there's a need to create a new topic dedicated to it?

I know this will impress me:

The translation of the background lyrics in "Can You Feel The Love Tonight", as well as the translation of the second half of the Broadway musical's "Lioness hunt". As for Circle of Life, the lyrics are as easy to find as simply looking at MLK's own Lion King wiki.

But if you can find the vocal translations for CYFTLT and Lioness Hunt, then I will indeed be impressed, because I've searched for those, and have yet to find any.

But as someone who cares about you on this forum, I came to realization today and:

My best advice is to do a little more homework before you decide to post a topic like this :cool5: .
