Well, I like her more than cubbie Simba, but it would be better if she had blue eyes. She's like a Simba clone.

She's Simba in a female version, which sucks alot. The reason you don't see her with golden fur in the smileys because they're from the original tape I think.

Actually not. But Simba is a male and Kiara is a female, so she can't be his clone.

I like her design too. She isn't exactly a female version of Simba... Her nose is darker like Nala's and her eye lids are dark like Sarabi's. She doesn't have a head tuft or ear rims.

True, there are many subtle elements in her design that make her different than Simba. Here are a few others I can name off the top of my head:

-The fur over her eyes and the fur in her ears are different colors (like all the new lion characters in SP, I should mention)
-Her eyebrows aren't black, but dark brown
-Her tail tuft is dull brown, not red
-She has lighter fur on the inside of her hind legs, which Nala and Mufasa have, but Simba and Sarabi don't have
-She doesn't have a "gradient" on the bridge of her nose as an adult (Simba has a dark one, Nala has a light one)
-Her eyes are slightly darker than Simba's (whose eyes appear much lighter than they do in TLK, more orange than red)
-There is no vertical groove in the center of her nose as an adult
-And most interestingly, the fur under her eyes is slightly darker than the fur on her muzzle, paws and belly, while Simba and Nala's under-eye fur is slightly lighter

Still, it's easy to overlook some of these differences and say that she's a female version of Simba. It would have been nice to see more of Nala's traits in her design, like lighter fur on the inside of her forelegs or a light gradient on her nose.

as well as the ones Akril mentioned, her fur also isn't golden. it's duller than Simba and Nala's, more like Sarafina and Sarabi. I noticed this more drawing her with official colors from the DVD. a great example of this is some clip art I colored with Kiara's official colors (except for the spots I added for embellishment lol) and Simba's official colors from TLK1:

Kiara is one of the most adorable cubs in TLK, I mean come on. You gotta love her she's just to darn cute
and as a adult lioness she's HOT!!
