(Whew ideas are running a bit low right now. Hopefully they'll pick up as we go along.)

Shinova awoke to see Mio seem to be squirming in pain. "Everything alright Mio? You need anything?" Shinova studied the Den. Simba was not within the Den. "Perhaps he left, but why would he leave Nala in here?"

No just in pain all I can do is recover and I am fine for right now thanks though

Nova woke up shortly after and looked over at Mio and her eyes saddened. She didn't like seeing him in pain. She then looked over at Shinova and smiled.

"Did you sleep alright?" She asked the cub.

Her gaze soon fell on Nala however and she frowned, noticing that Simba was not there with her. Nala then woke and looked around her in a blind panic.

"Where's Simba?!"

I don't know I woke up and he is gone you can stay here if you like until he comes back. He won't anabdon you don't worry. He said it's a smile. Are you ok after the fight?

Nova looked over at Nala and let a low growl escape. She still didn't like them being here, but she wouldn't let that be known. She hated the fact Mio was talking to her also, but she let that slide. She was probably just jealous. Nova stood up and picked the cubs up and put them in a heap in the comphyest part of the cave.

"A little exhausted, but i'll be ok. I must go and find Simba, he looked exhausted and so injured when we came back here last night" Nala said with worry.

Mio looked over at Nova and signaled her to come next to him. He whispered no one can take your place so don't be jealous he said purring and giving her a lick. I know you don't like her just be nice until she is gone. She could never take your spot your the only lioness for me.

Nova sighed, but she still didn't like Nala being in her den. She walked off and began to tend to the cubs once again.

"Sorry Mio. We have outstayed our welcome. Once Simba wakes up we will be on our way. What are your little ones called?" Nala asked, desperate to try and make conversation and avoid upsetting Nova.

The boy is Ace, the one that looks like Nova is Vex and the other is Rayn. As he said while laughing Rayn like to chew on my tail.

Simba awoke outside near the entrance of the Den. "What a beautiful place Nova found. I don't blame her for disliking me. She was probably treated like Royalty when Scar was King. She just has to realize that she isn't a little princess anymore. Her desire for Scar parallels with Zira's. It's a no wonder she would never be allied with her." Simba looked down to see Shinova standing there. "He looks so much like me when I was young, but he is much wiser than I was." Simba's thoughts continued to boast in his mind.

Shinova walked outside the Den and noticed Simba awakening. "Simba do you think it's over?" Shinova had a melancholy tone that seemed to ring through the air with grief. Shinova looked up at Simba and could tell he was deep in thought. He sat down next to Simba and waited patiently.

Meeko was sitting on Shinova's back and looked up at the mighty king. He too could tell he was deep in thought so remained silent and waited for Simba to answer his question in his own time.

Rayn was indeed chewing on Mio's tail, her tiny little teeth not doing any sort of damage to the larger lions tail.

"Heh, she's going to be a handful" Nala observed.
