My grandfather served in Korea-other than that my family is pretty peaceful.

Oh really? Wow. I had a Grandfather who served in WW2, in Germany. He liberated some concentration camps. He was a sniper, actually. I also had a great uncle who served in WW2 as one of those bomber guys, you know the planes that dropped those bombs on stuff. I don't remember what kind of plane he flew though. Both are deceased.


I believe those planes are called "bombers", and rest in peace to your grandfather and great uncle! :sad: What war heroes!

I have to say guys: I am impressed by this topic. Our generation has gone a long way from the previous one, where hating the war equated to hating the soldiers. Say what you want about foreign politics and wars, but soldiers and veterans deserve nothing less than our support and thanks for their sacrifices.
