I've just adopted a two year old dumbo rat named Max. He is very over weight, has a tumor on his shoulder, bad skinand he has rather dull eyes. Poor little thing. He is so friendly and I am going to make sure the remainder of his life (Sadly it's only going to be a few months) is plesant. As soon as that tumor starts to grow and cause him pain however, I will have him put to sleep. I couldn't bear the thought of going into work everyday seeing him in that tiny cage for the rest of his life. With me he will be spoilt and loved =3 That's my good deed for the day ^_^ Will post pics soon!
