Special Chatrooms for members with dens?

I think the easiest way is to either be in the public chat room or register on msn, yahoo, aol, or skype.

Simba - Well sure anyone can view the source with any modern browser. But the source you see is just the HTML, the "front-end" source.

Some forums allow HTML, and some don't. If a forum allows HTML, a hacker could experiment and get control of a forum. BBCode is parsed (read and interpreted) by the forum, so no harm can be done.

LT - I can't install the chatroom modification more than once on the same forum. I didn't write the code for the chatroom, someone else did.

But, to brighten everyone's spirits, I will be working on a way to suspend people from the chatroom for X amount of time (instead of just turning the chatroom off for a few days ;P). This was KK's idea, and I'm looking into how to do it. Not promising anything though...

well, that sounds much better. I know some people who didn't do anything before were really disappointed about the chatbox being taken away, so that should make it better on everyone.

ah, I wasn't thinking about them getting control of the site, I was only thinking about access to its layout, graphics, and other such possibly copyrighted material.

I'm not to happy about that (suspending people from the chatbox), but it's fair. Only reason is because I've been suspended 2 times from it already.

Would private chatrooms kind of promote flame wars...? I mean, if someone wants in, and you tell them no... aren't they going to get hurt? It wouldn't even be worth it if it was done, because it would just lead to more fighting, until eventually, poof, Moka deletes the chatroom again.

In short, this wouldn't be practical from Moka's coding point of view, it wouldn't be practical from a moderation point of view (Moka as admin has to be responsible for everything on his site, and he can't just make areas where the law doesn't apply) and there's a million and a half chat cliets on the internet that can make this work with a whole less trouble =)

well, my suggestion to you if you don't want to talk with them on IM, LT, is to go get a chatbox from one of the many providers and invite whoever you want via e-mail. that way it's not on anyone else's site and you can make your own rules for it. personally, I'd recommend c-box because it let's you upload whatever smilies you want.
