Told you you read the tabloids. Paul Ryan further went on to elaborate what he meant, and this is what he said: He doesn't support rape, and knows its evil, but if a child is created because of it, it's God's will, and therefore he is against aborting it.

I am against it, and I know that you are against it, but that is no way the same way as "I support rape because it creates more people."
I know that it is a con-abortion remark and not a pro-rape remark. It is still completely stupid to say such things, which was my original point. This is a clear example of how the teaching of garbage in schools makes people say disgusting things.

I think the sad truth is that Ryan does not know better. And that is also my main point in opposing republicans. They are so damn religious.

Do remember that some people firmly believe that what you consider morally wrong, they believe as the right thing. Really, start opening your mind that not everyone are either like you, or evil. You can't tell a society that views murder as an honorable activity that murder is wrong. You can try and change their ways, but just telling them that they're wrong makes you no better than them, if not worse for forcing your views on another society.

So once again: You view abortion as wrong. Others don't. And in the end, people vote for the reps that agree with them.
Paul Ryan said: Rape is just another method of conception.

See that is one of the reasons I don't like them. Some are completely nuts. Someone with thoughts like that, vice president? I find these [s]all women should be baby factories[/s] pro-life remarks highly disturbing. It's a disgrace, he's insulting half of the human race right there...
And? That’s his personal opinion. The Vice President’s viewpoints do not matter and they never have. It’s why civil unions didn’t improve during the Bush administration despite the fact that Dick Cheney was for them.

I wish people would stop thinking women are being suppressed by the Republicans with this "War on Women" rhetoric. It was Ronald Reagan who appointed a female Supreme Court justice. Bush attempted to do the same, but the Democrats in the Senate rejected her (lol). A lot of people make fun of Romney for his “Binder Full of Women”, but at least he’s trying to add females. Do you know who’s not laughing? The women who got a job cause of those binders.

Also, don’t say it’s definitely Obama. It’s too close to call :P

Iraq war, afghani war. Do go on. I do it verbally. Religion is one of the great evils in this world. God has no place in politics. They don't think different... They don't think. You should not defend the nutcases. You're better than that

No, I am not defending them, because I agree with you that they are in the wrong. But you have to remember that for them, they are in the right, and who knows, you might save getting yourself and ulcer by a few years if you accept that fact. :P

It's not that you fight them, but how. You have to calmly and reasonably explain to people how what they think is actually wrong, and educate them in a way that will get them to change their minds on their own.

Admitting that you will readily name-call religious idiots is not that way, just saying...

You can not reason with these people. They became like this without using reason. Indoctrination is stronger than education sadly...

They don't listen to reason, because if they would listen they would not say such things.

Which is all the more reason why I don't like Obama. People like to say that he is better at international politics than Romney is, and maybe he is when it comes to dealing with friends. But as for enemies: Yes, he did "Kill Osama". More like Osama was discovered while Obama was in charge. And at the same time, Iran is well in progress to build a nuclear weapon.

You said it yourself: Indoctrination is stronger than education. Guess what happens when you have a radical zealot in totalitarian control of a nation with a nuke? Nagasaki will no longer be the last place to get nuked, that's what.

Re: Election Day 2012

Ok let me start with this. The whole pm you sent me is filled with a downslope-effect/slippery-slope argument. If Obama becomes president this will happen so this will happen so this will happen etc. That is a speculation. Ahmadinejad has said a lot of things, of which none appear to be true. Big talk, small d*ck.
1. Spring 2010, Rose Gottemoeller, an assistant secretary of state and Washington's chief nuclear arms negotiator, asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Israel refused.

2. The United Nations passed a resolution calling on Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

3. The IAEA asked Israel to sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and to submit to inspections. Israel refused.

4. Iran's formal notification to the IAEA of the planned construction of the backup fuel-rod facility underscores that Iran is playing by the rules of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty which Iran has signed.

5. Iran allows IAEA inspections of all its facilities.

6. Contrary to face-saving claims, it appears that the US and Israel were both caught off guard by Iran's announcement of a planned underground (to avoid being bombed) enrichment facility. The reasoning is simple. Had the US or Israel announced the existence of he new facility before Iran's notified the IAEA, it would have put Iran on the defensive. As it is now, the US and Israel seem to be playing catch up, casting doubt on the veracity of Israel's claims to "know" that Iran is a nuclear threat.

7. The IAEA and all 16 United States Intelligence Agencies are unanimous in agreement that Iran is not building and does not possess nuclear weapons.

8. In 1986, Mordachai Vanunu blew the whistle and provided photographs showing Israel's clandestine nuclear weapons factory underneath the reactor at Dimona.

9. Israel made the same accusations against Iraq that it is making against Iran, leading up to Israel's bombing of the power station at Osirik. Following the invasion of 2003, international experts examined the ruins of the power station at Osirik and found no evidence of a clandestine weapons factory in the rubble.

10. The United Nations has just released the Goldstone Report, a scathing report which accuses Israel of 37 specific war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza earlier this year. Israel has denounced the report as "Anti-Semitic (even though Judge Goldstone is himself Jewish), and the United States will block the report from being referred to the War Crimes Tribunal at the Hague in the Netherlands, thereby making the US Government an accessory after-the-fact.

11. Recently revealed documents prove not only that Israel has nuclear weapos, but actually tried to sell some to Apartheid South Africa. Who else Israel approached to sell nuclear weapons remains an unasked question.

12. In 1965, Israel stole over 200-600 pounds of weapons-grade uranium from the United States.

13. Declassified documents from the former South African regime prove not only that Israel has had nuclear weapons for decades, but has tried to sell them to other countries!

14: No less a source than the Jerusalem Post confirms that Israel has armed their German-supplied Dolphin submarines with nuclear-tipped cruise missiles.
You're building an argument on numerous speculations which then develop a huge conclusion ''Iran has or will build nukes!!!!!! (and by extension drop them too)'' You say I act like I only read tabloid headlines. What do you read then? Fox news? Israel is a nation that shouldn't even exist. They had no right to take that land. I'm not gonna whine about that because it can't be reversed. I get that the Arabs are mad, I totally understand them (Not the death threats part). Of course their views get radicalized by Islam, but this guy has been screaming that he will destroy Israel since 2005. That's 7 years and he hasn't done a single thing.
Image

Nagasaki will no longer be the last place to get nuked, that's what.
Speculation + Speculation + Speculation X Radicalization = That
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On a side note. I found some figures. They are not meant to create an argument. They are just for information.
