Is there still someone presses "Fav"- Button?

Frequently it were noticeable to me that many like my pictures, I get many comments and favorites??? but nobody presses the Fav Artist button!?

Many of you look at my Gallery with each new picture I upload, and those are more than only 2 people, which have faved me. Okay, it hasn't many sense, but as Artist one asks oneself of course whether it is because of the own works??? Do I have to become better? What doesn't please you?

Clearly each one wants acknowledgment in a certain measure, one compares itself also with other Artists. Thats normal!
I would love to be listed with the most popular artists, even if that is perhaps utopian.

But if the Fav function does not have use, and it therefore none used, it isn't possibly for me.

These are those things the world do not need and which are able to pull one completely beautifully down. Perhaps I think really too many not to be good enough, but it does feel well to talk the whole thing from the soul.

You are a wonderful artist Yatima. I know with me I follow the new uploads on the front page and go picture by picture instead of like TLKFAA where you have a list of favorite artists and it lists all the new pictures. I don't really check my favorite artists list and don't add often unless I'm just browsing around.
Don't feel bad I'm pretty positive it isn't because you aren't a good artist.

Don't feel bad Yatima. Having more "faves" than anyone else doesn't make you a better artist. ^^ People probably forgot.

Yeah, me too. I look at every single picture whenever I can. But obviously I can't comment on them all or my messages will get annoyingly repetitive lol. =P But I do make sure I view each picture at least once. ^^

No single comment will annoy an Artist, even it is just a "I like the Pic".
Feedback is Feedback and it makes us Artist proud every time! So people feel free to comment, even it is just 1 word!

Yeah, and don't forget that this site is still in development. If people haven't fav'd you as an artist, its probably because its just a bad navigation design on my part. It's difficult to add artists to your favorites list and its difficult to keep up with your favorite artists.

I am trying to make it a bit like facebook, where it shows a list of updates like "so and so uploaded a new picture", maybe it will create more incentive to fave artists.

Don't worry my friend: machts nicht. (?) The favorites on MLK at this point aren't a very good indication of the artist's talent. Faves are a combination of three things:

-Quality of the art, the better the art, the more favs you'll get

-How frequently you post art. the more often you post, the more you're seen around, and the more you get favorited.

-The number of friends you have. Unfortunately that's totally true, if you have more friends you'll get more favorites lol.

But really, don't take the faves into too much consideration =) Go by MLK Fan Artist of the Week wins! You've got one of those eh?! Great work! =D

Haha I wondered that too because I don't have anyone faving me either. I think I only have 2 people watching me.

I only have a few people watching me too. I usally just fave them and put in comments.
