"The only reason they turned on him was because they were losing. Had the battle gone any other way he would still be leading them. I just get the feeling we haven't won. Who knows with that little brat of a wife he had we could still have problems." Shinova said worriedly. He looked down at Meeko wondering what Meeko was really thinking of all this.

[Shadowfax]

"Did you want to go and see his body.. you know.. Just to be sure? Would that put your mind at ease a little?" Meeko asked, though he was scared of going back there himself. However, if Shinova wanted to, he would follow him.

"You should get some rest Shinova" Came Nova's voice from the den entrance.

Mio was passed asleep resting after that fight, but he felt safer and he knew that the time for peace is right around the corner .

[Tora]

"Perhaps that is best Nova." Shinova sighed. "Come Meeko we must get some sleep." Shinova's worry continued to pierce at him as he walked toward the Den. He just knew something wasn't right. His unease was quite visible. He tried his best to hide it though; he didn't want Nova or Mio to feel it.

Nova accompanied Meeko and Shinova back to the den and settled down next to Mio and the cubs.

"You were very brave to go out and fight" Nova said, settling down.

Vex was awake and was watching Shinova closely aswell as Meeko.

Mio felt Nova's fur while he was sleeping and he let a purr like you wouldn't believe. He felt the comfort of her next to him

Shinova looked at Meeko as he saw Vex eying them. "I bet she'll grow to be just like her mother. She might even inherit that stubbornness too." Shinova laughed. While he said this he was really thinking about his own future, and where he'd end up. "Guess I'll just have to wait and find out."

[Shadowfax]

Meeko, who seemed to have lost his fear of lions, looked at the cub and laughed softly.

"I doubt anyone could be as stubborn as Nova. Come on, we best get some sleep Shinova. Im sure you'll want to speak to Simba before he leaves, or are you going with them?" Meeko asked, his last words so only Shinova could hear.

Nova yawned, gave Simba and Nala a weary look then fell asleep next to Mio.

Mio awoke the next morning in exterme pain he could hardly move with all the pain he was in. He saw Rayn had moved her head on his paw and saw a smile on her face. He saw Ace was on his back asleep. Vex was still in the same spot where she closed her eyes. Ace wondered what they will be like when the grow up.
