Tiaret quailed a little under Saka's stern gaze. He was so intimidating. "I will not be told what I can and cannot do-I'm a princess." She glared at him and stalked by him, her tail dragged and brow knitted in a furious frown.

Saka turned to face Rachelley,"What was that?! Don't mess with my sister!"

Shahallie stepped in quickly before they started fighting again.

"Maybe we just need a night's rest. It's going to get dark soon, and we're all exhausted." He kept a level head with Saka. "Let's just eat this wildebeest and sleep. I'll even volunteer to be first watch for the night."

Saka snarled and glowered at Shahallie,"This is my pride, my family, my responsibility." He held Shahallie's gaze for several seconds before turning to go find Tiaret. He paused as an idea occurred. "Shahallie, find Tiaret-bring her back."

Vida smirked slightly, tonight would be perfect. Everyone was fighting and Saka felt insecure. She would find Shahallie when he was keeping watch. Vida slunk off into the distance, a smirk spread across her face.

Shahallie did as Saka commanded and went off to find Tiaret. He found her and told her that Saka wanted him.

"Why does he want me?" Tiaret asked. She was still very mad at her older brother.

"I don't know. He told me to come get you."

So Tiaret followed Shahallie back to Saka, both curious on what Saka wanted.

Tiaret gave Saka a cold look. "What?!" She sat down sullenly,"What do want?" Saka gave her a frustrated look and walked away. He paused, however, a few steps away,"Try not to kill yourself, Tia." He continued walking away. Tiaret sighed, frustrated and growled.

Shahallie wandered off into the woods. He just realized how bad one of his burns were on his arm and lay down under a tree to rest not too far from the others. He didn't want Saka to be giving him looks every other second and he just needed to be by himself for a bit. Maybe it was a bad idea to stay with this group. He tried going to sleep, but every time he did he was woken up by a painful feeling on his arm. Finally he walked down to the river. He could see a couple of the others farther downstream. He dipped his arm in the water and a burning sensation struck him. Suddenly, there was a loud roar, not to far from their location. He quickly trotted towards camp and found Saka.

"Did you hear the roar?" Shahallie asked immediately

Saka turned,"Of course I did-how could I not've? Get Tiaret and Vida and meet me here." Saka stopped before adding,"And do something with your arm." With that he dashed off to find Rachelley and Futenal.

Shahallie went off to find the two lionesses. She found Vida on a rock, mumbling to herself about something.

"Vida, follow me quickly. Lions are nearby." Shahallie said.

Vida got off the rock.

"Yeah. I heard a roar." She said.

"Do you know where Tiaret is?"

Vida hid a scowl. Why did he care for her so much? She was obviously much stronger and better than Tiaret.

"Uhhhh I think by the waterfall nearby in the woods."

Shahallie's stomach twisted. That's where the roar came from.

Tiaret's voice caught in her chest as the saw two shadows pass in front of her hiding place. She hoped the running water muted her loud heart beat.
"Tiaret?" She sighed as one of the shadows called her name. She slinked out of the water and shook herself,"Shahallie, we need to-" she yelped as a lion pounced on her. She thrashed wildly, feeling satisfied as her claws hit flesh.

Shahallie and Vida were trotting to the small waterfall, when they heard a yelp close by in that direction.

"Oh no." Shahallie muttered.

They immediately sped up into a sprint. They were almost there. They could just barely hear the sound of the waterfall.
