Vida smiled slightly as Shahallie asked her if she was interested in going hunting. "Yeah", she replied, and started to lead him towards the setting sun,"I know a great place." Silence reigned for a few moments before she decided to shatter it. "So, Shahallie, where are you from?" She edged closer and gave him a flirtatious smile.

Saka sat alone for a few moments before resolving to go find Tiaret and apologize for his gruff behavior. There was only one, kinda big problem: he didn't know where Rachelley had taken her.

Futenal looked up and realized his mother was missing. "Momma?" he cried out as he stood up. "Momma? where are you?" Shivering he looked around and saw the male lion laying down. Futenal quietly padded over to him and laid down next to him. Curling up into his side and went back to sleep.

Seeing that they were out of sight of the others Rachelley growled lowly letting her anger show. "He had no right to treat you that way," she hissed stalking back and forth. "Why do you put up with it? You are a full grown lioness. He shouldn't keep you from hunts. That's what we are made for, the one good thing all lionesses have in common." She snarled. Then looked at Tairet who was backing away slightly. "Come with me. We are going to hunt, and hone your skills till they become deadly." She commanded and started walking off, head held high.

Tiaret cast a worried looked over her shoulder at the direction they had come from, then turned, a mischievous smile playing a cross her face. She bounded to catch up with Rachelley.

Saka looked down as he felt something press against his belly; it was Futenal. Saka smiled slightly as Futenal curried up into a little ball and closed his eyes.
Saka curled around Futenal and put a massive protectively over him, as if to shield him from the world. He smiled again as Futenal purred contentedly.

Rachelley stalked through the grass and looked at the bouncy lioness. "Calm down and get low. Keep quite, and keep you're footsteps light" she hissed as they came up on a herd of wildebeest. Watching Tiaret from the corner of her eyes she slunk down to the ground. Seeing a wildebeest move away from the herd, and towards them she nodded slightly towards Tiaret who took off after the loner.

Tiaret's heart pounded as she sprinted after the line wildebeest. This was how a lion was supposed to feel; what a lion should be doing. She smiled, elated. She replaced her happiness with a deep calm. She felt the dirt in between her paws and the wind in her face and she saw the wildebeest not far in front of her. She leapt eagerly; but too soon. She grabbed only the very back of her prey's back then slipped. Tiaret grunted as a hoof hit her in the ribs. She shook herself, freeing the dry dust from her brown fur, and stared after her escaped victim.

Saka slept contentedly, his pain disappearing and giving place to memories. He purred contentedly, holding Futenal with his forepaws and feeling protective of everyone in his pride, even Shahallie. He was the king, and he was going to be a good one.

Shahallie and Vida spotted a herd of wildebeest on the move not to far from them. They darted towards it. Shahallie was relieved they spotted the herd because Vida was acting really weird. She was basically flirting with him. Vida spotted a slacker behind the herd. The two of them sprinted for it. They hid in the tall grass as it got nearer and leapt on it together, as did two other lions at the same time. Due to four lions leaping at full speed on the wildebeest, they all tumbled together. Shahallie got up immediately and took his defensive stance.

"Tiaret? Rachelley?" Shahallie said dumbstruck.

Tiaret stared back at Shahallie and Vida, her jaw open. She shook her head and closed her mouth, giving Shahallie an curious look. "What are you doing here?" She wished she could take back the question the moment it left her mouth. She changed her expression to a pleading one,"Don't tell Saka-please." Vida snorted and cozier up against Shahallie. Tiaret bit back laughter, Vida was flirting with Shahallie. But then another emotion enveloped her, jealousy, Vida was trying to steal Shahallie like she had stole Saka. Tiaret strode boldly forward and cozier up next to Shahallie on the opposite side, shooting Vida a rebellious look.

Rachelley looked at the two lionesses and smirked. Two typical young lionesses, always trying to kill each other over the male. She then chuckled, remembering her youth back when she was their age.

The softness of Tiaret's fur was extremely comforting and made Shahallie all warm inside.

"Well...uh... we better head back to camp so we can assure Saka that we're all safe and so we can eat the wildebeest." He said, blushing a bit.

He walked away from the two and picked up the wildebeest and put it on his broad shoulders and started heading back, followed by the three of them. Tiaret and Vida didn't look at each other the whole time

Tiaret stayed at the rear of the small group, wondering what had possessed her to do that? She shook away her muddled thoughts and stared at the ground.

Saka stretched as he woke. He frowned as he sighted Vida, Shahallie, Rachelley and Tiaret approaching Futenal and him. What was Tiaret doing with them? He bounded to meet them,"What was Tiaret doing with you?" His voice was sharp and accusatory. He turned angrily to Shahallie,"What are you doing with my sister? I told you to PROTECT her?!"

Tiaret stepped boldly forward, fueled by an encouraging look from Rachelley. "Shahallie had nothing to do with this. I was practicing hunting." Her voice was bold and rebellious.

Shahallie looked at Tiaret, awed by her standing up for herself, against her dominant older brother. He wanted her to keep going, but he also didn't want any trouble with Saka. He promised to watch over Tiaret, which he seemed was a little babyish, but he would like to be around her. There was something about her. Something......
