I always try to help people out whenever I can, I hate it when people just watch someone struggle and do nothing about it! It honestly makes me lose faith in humanity. I can't think of any major situations where I've been able to make a huge difference, it's usually minor things I encounter in everyday life, such as giving up my seat on a packed train/bus to an elderly person, or holding doors open for people in wheelchairs. I don't even reflect over these things; to me it's just common sense. You simply don't insist on staying in your seat while there's a person nearby struggling to stand up. That's beyond selfish.
Lolwut? It is a legal requirement over here that you give up your seat if an elderly, disabled, or expecting mother is in need of it. At least, there are signs that say you have to, so I assume it is a legal thing.
But yeah, its still common decency rather than an act of kindness.
Yeh, it is. Sadly there are so many ignorant people on trains that alot of the time they are left struggling =( Atleast there are still a few decent folk out there
