Well, I dont know from which source you copied that, but according to scripture the world isn't really going to end. It says there would only be a time of God's judgement upon the earth (the 7 years tribulation) Before Christ returns to earth and reigns for a 1000 years on earth together with his people.

So therefore, the rapture is only linked to the 7 years tribulation, rather then the end of the world.
